  • Where's a pack of Wolves when you need them.. Oh sorry, we mowed all them down as well... Friggin RETARDS!!! Get a real job!!!

  • @40intrek .....Retard? Get a Real Job? I'm curious.... What do you do every day that makes you so special? I know you don't wipe your ass with toilet PAPER, Live in a WOOD house... ect... You are ignorant and hypocritical.

  • @40intrek hey arsehole young saplings take in more oxygen than a tree of this size and this forest will be planted again dick face it you suck arse and falling is the best job on the planet keep felling mrhawkeye and drop some big mothafuckas =]

  • Frickin Glory seeking maoggots !!!! Falling tree's is easy compared to growing them....Fricking Morons!!!

  • @40intrek ............... Hey Troll, Obviously You have never fell a tree

  • Imagine yourself working with those kind of trees and being crouching for 7-8 hours around them. Your back and legs would be killing you for sure, and if you work hard as you can, you get tired and your back will be in wrong postions ffor last hours of day. Were you sawing these for timber or just cutting them down from some yard ? =) So i think its good idea to leave bit of stump. All tought it would waste, but you can always get more wood, where you can get new back? =)

  • No point in a low stump if your going to buck it off because of rot. Thanks for not making us watch the undercut!!!

  • Hey Mike, what is the name of this song?

  • bravo!!! yes!!! biuriful!!! my partner 62cc 10kg professional yes yes!!kkkkkkkkkk

  • What play video games and watch youtube video's......gamerdude.

  • fuck yeah!

this vid makes me proud of what i do for a living

  • stonehenge

  • hijo de pu ta, vos sos peor que los que matan perros

  • Best job

  • Great video -- thanks! Your skill and experience is obvious. Too bad people like siberiantiger use this post as a forum for their anti-logging viewpoints. I respect everyone's right to their opinion; I just wish it wasn't in the context of a video that shows a man with both skill and courage doing something that few of us can do -- that is, fell a tree with expert skill. Also, he seems to ignore the fact that most houses are built from wood. Where do you think that wood comes from?

  • whats the song name an band name ???

  • A chainsaw will never have A Blade,a chainsaw has a bar, chain, teeth, rakers,a chainsaw has no blade, lets not let folks make such mistakes, and may i point out the west coast has NO lumber jacks, thats a eastern thing.

  • have you ever got a blade stuck?

  • @AViolentCobra I think its caller a guide bar there champ. Why the hell does everyone think its called a blade?

  • And most of these trees here at old growth trees over 100 years old, replanting maybe 5 or so trees isnt gonna replace the amount of carbon stored in one of these tree's, so its not "sustainable" in cutting down these tree's. New tree's take heaps of carbon out of the air, but knowing Americans there just gonna cut them down again in 30-70 years which wont even produce near as much timber or take in as much carbon. People like you are the reason this world is so screwed

  • U.S has the most hyprotical forestry scheme. Dont start saying U.S is environmentally friendly when the most of the "protected" or "conservation" areas are available for logging. The U.S has destroyed more than 60% of its forests, drained half of its wetlands and is so wasteful with electricity and meat consumption that it pollutes the highest amount of carbon in the world. Mad fucking music with the video btw, u look soo good.

  • You need to respond to these fucking idiots . These assholes, don't realize what their huts are built of. I'd call it wood. I liked.

  • wow nice vid thanks I just want to start my chainsaw and start having fun!

  • Got a logging contract I own my own co. Trying to get big like your co. Any tips on how you all do it

  • i don't know why you put this video in the entertainment category, it's just some stupid fuck killing the planet

  • Hmm that explains where all of our oxygen will be going

  • all you stupid people that are against logging go to hell

  • all you stupid that are against logging go to hell

  • Put your face shield down, Goober! What do you think it's for?

  • poor ole' kawliga woodn't have wished he was that old pine tree

  • This video is a great way to restore lost manliness from watching kitten videos

  • The largest AXE in the world is now for sale on Ebay, if you would like to see it, go to Ebay, and in the search box, type in: 130569369041, and get it while you can.

  • the song used is called: Saints of Silence - Numb.

    Awesome video btw.

  • Well has nothing to do with falling from a tree, just some bumboy with a chainsaw. It would of been better if maybe the odd arm got chopped off.

  • Comment removed

  • @kenfo0 ha ha Says the guy that has not one video uploaded and most definately has never fallin a tree. Go troll some where else....

  • @kenfo0 Yo Tool Bag I have no idea what you are tring to say...

    Thanks

  • I love all these pro's on here like why didnt you do this and why didnt you do that and why arent you using this and that... thats why hes doing that and your sitting behind your computer. and you hippie tree huggers are idiots. quit complaining about trees being cut down. what the hell do you think your stinking ass hippe house is made out of? sure aint rainbows and flower power... stupid asses

  • Dats how we do it in Oregon....

  • no offense dude...lumberjacking is good work...but try climbing and taking that tree down with property under it..any fool can grab a chain saw and notch and cut!! i have pics if i knew how to send that would make whoever is in that vidio....his balls would shrival lol....im a climber and my boy has been tought well...have you ever been IN a tree 60 to 70 feet up over electric wires??? lol show me that...then you'll have my respect....this vidio ..a girl could do that.....just saying.....

  • and the purpose of this video is????

  • try doing it with a 300 thousand dollar under it and service wires!!! lol this isnt shit...my 15 year old boy could do that!!

  • @childofvisionx Ok Then put your 15 year old boy on a vid and prove it !

  • @childofvisionx i agree. been in the tree business for about 17 yrs. could do this blind folded. being from the great state of minnesota we dont have trees of that size here but it still would be an awesome site dropping one of those bad boys.

  • Cool video. :)

  • Not advisable to stand there posing for animal crackers while a big tree starts its fall, not even looking at the tree. Might want to be beating-feet out of harm's way there.

  • we want the osund of the falling trees

  • @identigraph Ha Ha Seriously?

  • @mrhhawkeye uwoooooooooooooooo

  • @mrhhawkeye hes just a tree hugger lol

  • @identigraph ?????

  • Fuck yall who do u think "kills" more trees in 1 year.....loggers like these guys...or... big crop farmers that own MILLIONS of acres of land

  • what a waste of timber leaving stumps like that, really surprised you dont do heartwood cuts on tree's that size, also whats the point of your visor if you dont use it!!!!!!

  • @llewelyn1979 Stumps where left high to help pull the stumps. surprised we dont use heartwood cuts ehhh... I think you nee to stick to uploading music videos from your ipod and keep your nose out of anything that has to do with the falling of a tree.

  • @mrhhawkeye haha I guess I touched a nerve, what a response, very grown up. If you cant take criticism, can I suggest you don't put videos on the net. FYI the day I start uploading videos from my ipod is the day I stop working with tree's.

  • I hope he didn't cut them down for fun!

    Nice wood

  • Fuck Your Mother :P

  • Looks like hillbillies cutting down some trees for no reason?

  • Hardcore

  • america, the natural destroyer

  • Looks like your enjoying your self ,that's the important thing

  • hey whats the name of this song?

  • timberr

  • o man, you uploaded the music too loud!! it's a shame, because it's a nice vid!

  • sorry mate thats codswallop "that means a feable excuse for not bending down"

I'v been felling trees in the good old UK for over 20 years and we wouldn't waste that much timber in this country. For a start we couldn't get our extraction equipment around stumps that high, and our trees arn't as big, (waste not wont not),,

  • song?

  • Most trees bounce even a little bit when they hit. those fuckers just thud, and thats it. big timber

  • You leave enough timber in the stump to build a small house, can't you cut nearer the ground? I'd be shot if I left a stump that tall!!!!!!!

  • @lysander301 You should never fell a tree near to the ground because the roots have too much influence on the base of the tree - essentially it's harder to get a directional fell. The stump would be cut off afterwards.

  • BADASSES

  • sad to watch this

  • shoulda left out this shitty music so we can hear the awesome sounds of logging.

  • wats d song called plzz

  • AndrewHecker--the dood cutting with the face shield up has very special eyes-unlike you and me, chips do not dare get into his eyes.

  • I'm afraid I can't quite give him the gold star for safety. That face shield is important. I couldn't stand cutting without it.

Loggers are like farmers and ranchers. They want their children and grandchildren to be able to follow in their footsteps.

I like to think that we're approaching the point where we'll realize that to continue being able to make plywood, we're going to have to have trees more than eight feet across, which means long-term growth. And long-term planning,

  • WELL THERE GOES A 300-600 YR OLD TREE! SICK MF! USE NEW GROWTH TREES NOT THE OLD STUFF UNLESS IT IS DOWNED BY NATURE!

  • cool cut off tree

  • Gotta love Stihl

  • There are more trees in the United States today than there were 100 years ago. This is because of new harvesting techniques and an understanding of the forest

  • @nattys44 I think that has more to do with the dramatic overharvest that was done 100-120 years ago rather than management.

  • @nattys44 Wheres the proof of that ridiculous statement LOL. More trees 100 years ago? Are you on crack?

  • @nattys44 Bullshit. More numbers is not the same as a fully formed thriving ecosystem. What bullshit.

More means shit in this scenario. It's also size and age that matters. Can't believe you got 10 thumbs, oh wait... yes I can.

  • @HashyBee There is the matter of areas long ago cut over (e.g. NH, CT) that have since been abandoned as farms, and have reverted to forest.

Don't let anything stand in the way or your conclusion, natty.

  • @nattys44 Choke on an oak tree cock natty44

  • @nattys44 It's actually because they drastically overharvested 100 years ago.

  • what's the song name???

  • @proskier666

the song is saints of silence- numb

  • I say that intro before I go take a dump.

  • what a great video, i dont see how anyone could say anything bad about it, be safe and log hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have one question, you use chainsaw brands Sthil i have one, not professional and have over 20 year but i'm very satisfied, what is you model of chainsaw?

  • why am i watching this again? lol

  • i find it gross that these people get such pleasure out of chopping down these beautiful tress i know that it has to be done but honestly..

  • @20012607 lol dude tree's that size take about 200-300 year's to grow our kids will be dead by that time -_-

    Btw awesome video :P

  • a tree fell at are address in shreveport LA the lights went out it hit a car and power lines two of them

  • Great video, clearly one of the best I seen on the tube so far!

  • You guys all shut the fuck up I'm a logger also so what

  • this makes me sad but at the same time i would not have furniture or paper or a lot of things without this happening.

  • tree killers, you suck like your stihl, husky rule

  • This is just plain wrong.

  • @laserlight43 hahahahahahahaha

  • wow those are some huge trees!

  • cortate la pichula gay

  • lisababeex0 is an expert on wood. Hard wood in the mouth is a specialty.

  • @killersushi99 .."Hard wood in the mouth"...lmao...GEE,did you like, give that comment plenty of thought fish breath???...I guess we'll need to hear from your boyfriend to find out what YOUR in the mouth speciality is...At least the other dude sounds like he knows all the shit, even if he doesn't BUT you, sushi boy,are an idiot !!

  • Has ANYONE ever seen a logger plant a tree?

  • @eddiequest4 The actual logger himself doesn;t do it you moron, the company, yes that means there are more than one employee, comes back through with a different crew that plants the new ones. Did you really expect to see a logger in full gress set down his saw and plant the tree? Are you stupid?

  • @eddiequest4 What a stupid statement!!!!.Did you put much thought into that Einstein?

  • Also take an ecology class. Ecosystems dont spring up where there are 6" little trees. They move on to a different area. You can actually use these "monster" trees for research because they have been here forever. We could learn about the earth but no you preffer to tear it appart. Environmental Geology major speaking. If a hippy is defined as a person who actually cares about the earth Im one. I guess humanity is fucked when there are people like you in the world...

  • @midnightfrequency thats why we have green houses,, trees are already previously grown as sapplings then transplanted,, and yes that its true but in the 1900 Gifford Pinchot started fix the problem, ever since then our forest been on a even steady line,, yeah if your monster tree catches on fire,, what are you going to do, and who do you call when your hippy asses are running scared back to the city,, thoses tress you can research from a cookie,, you dont need the whole thing,

  • humanity? us forestry majors and fire ecologist are not just worried for the well being of humanity,, we are here, for the sustainability in all areas,, wildlife, forest, natural disasters, etc, ,, i thought you hippies wernt so concieted,, now were fucked

  • No shit Micted6. yes your replanting. But remember trees take hell of a long time to grow until they are actually able to intake CO2 emissions as a fully grown tree would. You dont see the forest that is missing because in the early 1700s trees were cut and shipped back to England for their homes, buildings, etc ontop of what colonial america had supply. SO that means we are working with our remaining 5%. Im assuming 5% left your reffering to are trees in america

  • most of these monster trees are either diseased or in decline. they clear out the big trees to make room for the new smaller trees that they plant. Loggers actual professional loggers replant trees. Think of them as forest managers there helping maximize the forests production.

  • and if 95% of our forest be gone wouldnt it be obvious, the appalacian and boreal forest, southernbottom land forest, be gone, all the wilderness canada and alaska be gone, also the other forest in other contries would be gone, leaving five percent, left, i guess the yellowstone would be the only one standing,no @eddiequest4 i feel sorry for your ignorance, and dont think im a redneck in my overalls because i have an education, experiences and shoulder muscles to back me up, also native american!

  • @Micted6 Silly child - You've turned into a white man.

  • @eddiequest4 and you just a ingnorant bitch,, go fuck yah momma im dun with her

  • so @eddiequest4 you still bitchen? or any of you other hippy cry babies,,ha,,

  • and i re state. TREES ARE NOT LOST, NOR ARE FOREST, THEY ARE SIMPLY REPLACED, and also many logging companies have thier own set of land they log and and even there, they have sustainablity and management in place, for they only take mature trees and replant new ones, in replacing trees, not losing,!,, so fuck all you hippy fuck go wipe your ass, you also use wooded products every day , but its okay if you do because its a renewable product and im doing my job as a forester, you ignorant fucks

  • the impactment on the land. you dont look at the facts and blur out ignorant and mythical sources that are not true. so stay of your wikipedia sites and read the facts. trees are not lost, i am a forester, i have a chainsaw, i reduce fuel loading, i am a wildland firefighter, i mitigate the burning of forests and help to fight to save homes and people, what do you do , complain and disrespect my education.! fuck you, i am a forestry major, and i re state.

  • environment. which are like machines taht have sensors telling that they are on wet grown or steep ground or when the wheels are losing traction. the mahine will then automatically adapt to its working conditions in a way that will optimize performance and minimize environmental impact.or the wieght of the machines, having lighter machine components made from aluminum kevlar or carbon fiber will reduce the impact on the enviroment. Either way you hippy fucks dont see the improvements to mimize

  • voluntarily adopted techniques that can soften the initial negative visual response to a recently harvested site, see ,, as i previously stated, replanted, regrown, where is there a lost of forest?? only a temporary bald spot, which will be regrown having the benefit of less fuel loading. but then you hippies still cry, EROSION, BIG TRUCKS MAKE HOLE< haha,, well timber harvesting machines may be equipped with intelligent controls systems that will enable the machine to adapt to the surrounding

  • akin to environmental devastation, simply because an unattractive landscape now exists where a mature forest of beautiful trees recently grew. but its only temporary.to many people, it only seems logical than any operation that would creat such an unattractive scene MUST be harmful to the environment, which is untrue, even if the area is quickly reforested. in response to the hippy bitches, many logging contractors, forest industry firms, and forest landowners haave voluntarily adopted cont,

  • NO detrimental effect on water quality, site productivity,(regeneration), soil eriosion, wildlife populations, biological diversity, endangered species, or forest resource sustainability. forester experts believe that timber harvesting is a critical tool to achieve forest regeneration. also removes fuels for fire, because i feel removing old growth trees is better thant having human fatalities due to forest fires. However, the general public often views a timber harves as something akin to cont

  • regeneration by the clearcutting method is accomplished by natural seeding, direct seeding, or planting. but to not wait around so long for a seed most clearcutting is followed by planting, so its not always left a bald spot, and the trees are replaced, so that 95% is replace ,, not lost. modern timber harvesting has a public image problem, overwhelming scientific evidence confirms the fact that logging, whne well planned and performed properly has little to NO detrimental effect on continued

  • steady supply of timber, becuase wit need timber for everything, homes, pencils, paper, toilet paper or are you that hippy who doesnt wipe his ass to save trees.clearcutting is appropriate in dominant and intolerant of shade as i previously stated because they are dependent upon severe disturbances such as crown fire for their pepetuation, but would you rather help the economy loss money on wildfire or have the lumber be used and have clearcutting as a substitute to that fire.

  • sustainablity and management in an ecosystem. A principal goal in siviculture is to ensure taht when a stand is harvested, most mature trees removed are replaced by vigorous seddlings or saplings of desireable species, meaning, you can plant what ever is most pretty to you hippies.silviculture systems are long ranged harvest and management schemes designed to potimize the GROWTH, REGENERATION AND ADMINISTRATIVE management of forest stands usuall with the goal of obtaining a perpetual and cont

  • cont. on the physical properties of forest soils, altered microclimate, inceased nutrient leaching loss, and excessive nutrient removal in the biomass, well human disturbances can be good for trees that sometimes may respond to such disturbances such as precribed burning some tree seeds may be surotinious. im just throwing out points but back to the main subject on what your saying is a myth,. Silviculture is something you should know, Silviculture is , im my definition is the practice of cont.

  • my main agruement to set your 95 percent of tree myth straight! TREES GROW BACK, its called secondary succession, on disturbed area fro human causes hurricanes or wildland fire and what have you, trees have light seeds and most of the tree seeds are there after the disturbance. Also loggers and envoirnmentalist replant seeds after, and also seeds are also recolonized by wind or animals. the issues surrounding timber harvesting and sustainability have many facets such as deleterious effects cont.

  • comment three continued, protection- placement of a barrier ot other matrial, which is mainly just chemicals, which cost $, tax mostly.which also you guys like to complain about Eradication- removal or destruction of pathogen or insect life , which also is a topic of complaints. or Therapy, which is treatment to cure already diseased or infested trees, its management or sustainability. either way it always steady cut and growth of trees i feel like telling you more so on another comment =)

  • dominant as in taking up most of the sunlight that could give other smaller younger trees in the shade to have more photosynethesis to have a healthier crown.

other reason for taking out a large area of trees is pest! such as bark beetles, root desease and etc,

well the strategies that are mostly implement are

resistance- utilization of trees with inherent, genectically controlled characteristics taht minimize pest or disease exclusion-prevention of the introduction of pathogen or insect

  • @eddiequest4 continued is that the main reason why most people oppose of clearcutting is that they think that it wont grow back, but yet it will, and it mainly because people are so judgemental. UGH it so ugly, well the main reason is aesthetic views. of having a bald spot in the middle of nowhere. well that will be a grazing area for most animals in thick areas. but it not always clearcuttin,, theres also selective cutting which most lumber companies do, is taking age and dominant treecontinue

  • how much do you get paid for sawing down trees with your chainsaw? do you like it?

  • Why is it that all these macho tree killers gotta have macho-sounding rock music in their silly videos? ARGH ! GRUNT, GRUNT!

  • are there face cuts? or just back cuts?

  • Nice job. Awesome soundtrack. Was that a 660 magnum?

  • Nice job. Awesome soundtrack. Was that a 660 magnum?

  • okay for all the tree huggers and hippies,, ahaha,, there is no such thing as depleting all the trees,, forestry is there and the growth and cutting of trees is a steady line,, it has been like that for most of the past 100 years or so,, if you read a book you'll know,,,, also im a foresty major,, so fuck all you pencil pushers ahaha,, go sit at your desk while us wildland fiire fighters cut trees to save a forest bitch,,

  • @Micted6 uhuh... 95% of our forests are gone. Weren't you the last logger on Easter Island?

  • @eddiequest4 ohkay sit back and relax for forestry 101 as i have had experience in this field and attended northern arizona univ. which is a top accredited forestry in the nation. i believe the focal point of your debate is clearcutting. Clearcutting which is a regeneration method in which all trees on a certain area of land are cut and the site regenerated by natural seeding, or replanting of aircraft or of poineer tree species that grow in openings.,, (continue on another comment look for me)

  • we don't get trees like that here all the big ones are gone

  • Die armen Bäume, so ´ne Schei**!

  • EARTH FIRST we'll log the other planets later!!!! some nice saw work

  • this is in such bad taste

  • FUCK YOU TREE HUGGERS!! WE LIVE BY THE CHAINSAW!!

  • Global warming + tree cutting = bad idea

  • @Typho0n86 Go sit back on your wooden chair.

  • 2:04 Looks like the tree "Jumps" off the stump.. Lol

  • Hahaha! Hörselskydd? Handskar? visiret uppe? Älskar när det andra trädet ska fällas också och han lägger skäret ca 1 m upp och i princip sitter på knä och sågar fällskäret... Det lär ju hända en del olyckor

  • you are a fucking bastard

  • hey who sings this??? and btw that looks like a chit ton o fun!!!

  • Yeaaahhh!!! Good job guys!

  • Face shield in upright position. Check. Not much to protect anyways.

  • @killersushi99 Say's you ya fucken hypocrite!!Living in your wooden home with your wooden furniture snuggled by the open fire burning wood writing love letters to ya dog on paper MADE from wood.Pull ya head in.

  • @lisababeex0 Love letters to my dog? Dogs can't read. In your world maybe they can. Hows the weather In Crazytown these days? Get your dog to read you the weather forecast from the morning paper & get back to me.

  • @killersushi99 NO!!!Dogs can't read??YA THINK...Go put yourself on the waiting list for another eye cyclops then YOU get back to me.

  • @lisababeex0 Go put myself on the waiting list for another eye? Ok im going to put you on the waiting list to add another comment. This one calls for a do over. I dont need 2 eyes to see your really dumb anyways. But thanks! (o.x) Dogs reading and now an eye waiting list. What world does these comments come from?? They are damn funny!

  • @killersushi99 How much stupid could they fit in you anyway? Are you overflowing yet?Next time that pea brain of yours decides to actually perform the function nature intended it to,look up the words satire and sarcasm.Who's really dumb ???? I think "you're" really dumb!!!!...Go off yourself, you tree hugging fag.

  • @killersushi99 its just to keep saw dust out

  • fuck I gonna cut his head out

  • seems like you really got to be in shape to cut down trees .......hahah nice gut michael hawkins

  • i love the feeling off the ground shacking after cuttin down a big ass tree = D

  • I'm curious why these old growth trees were cut? Were they on land being developed? Without much of a description on the video it leaves everyone to use their to imagination.

To the log-at-all-cost peeps... nature doesn't always have a solution for what humans do. Clear cutting can change an ecosystem and climate for centuries. Personally, I don't give a damn about loggers if it means my grand kids are going to inherit a moonscape. If loggers are so tough then they can go do other work, too.

  • @clockfan pull up your panties.

enviro-nuts want to control what other people do with their own land.

why don't you buy some land of your own , and hug all the trees on it.
