Great story telling-music, sort of like the modern day rap music except that this music is influenced by culture and tradition of the people of Bini and its environ. The legacy of Osaymore Joseph has spanned decades. He compares with Victor Uwaifo, Sonny Okosun, Idahosa (whatever happened to him?) and other local greats. Osaymore continue to inspire young people with his music. His latest critique of local administrations says alot about the conscience of Osaymore. Sad that his is a lone voice.
This video took me back to my childhood, I actually saw him perform live when Governor Ali did his father's burial. Even an Ishan like me understands this song. Thanks a lot for posting it.
