I remember seeeing that at the Art Theater in Quincy mass about 1960, I was expecting zombies or monsters and I was sadly disappointed.

First film that I ever saw in a theater. I was 6 yrs old and it scared me to death. Spent most of the time with my sweater over my head, but I can still describe some scenes from this film -- the guy hanging on the door getting stuck in the head with a hatpin. The woman coming out of the water, dead. Would love to see it again as an adult, just to get past that creepy fear.

True to a degree. She was a pin up model in the fifties but did a lot of stage work including quite a bit at The Windmill theatre in London. After that quite a number of lesser movles.
