  • what you accomplished in 8 minutes would have taken abe lincoln 200 years

  • thats pretty cool

  • Can it chop good Kingling also?

  • Well worth the 2000 dollars eh.

  • Why would my wife want one of them?

  • Beats Splitting with an Ax

  • how quickly can it take your finger off?

  • i would like to see this thing try out some tougher new england wood, like hickory or apple. redwood is baby food

  • Keep that far hand high, or it will be low.

  • At my work we have a log pile over 30-40 tons of heavy still to be split im so jealous cause atm were waiting for a new splitter and using a wood axe :P

  • YOU HAVE A LOT OF WOOD........HUAHUAHUAUHHUAHUHAHUAUHA

  • I would like to see it do some Gum , locus or something with knots in it that wood is to good to burn should have made lumber out of it , im not sold on it that fast .

  • you dont know what post oak is..... do you ???

  • I can't believe I watched the whole thing....

  • is that what you cut your hair with?

  • Isn't this the new design model that uses 57lb or 78lb flywheels now?

  • nice but i think i would try to go to fast end up missin some fingers

  • meh still prefer an axe...

  • whats the story on the spark plugs?

  • love to see some postoak tear this toy up.

  • @larry666ize Why would you love to see that?

  • I have one of these splitters and mine is over 25 yrs old . nothing goes wrong with it and it sips the gas. I sell firewood and with me and a few guy we kill thru the wood! Biotches!

  • love to see some postoak tear this toy up.

  • that's some beautifal wood

  • i wanna see it split a doopy tree, then i'll be convinced, doopy tree's bout the hardest wood you'll come across

  • I agree with most of you - he's too quick for his own good, as his hands are very vulnerable. Also, no ear protection, which makes concentration even more difficult. I know he's trying to impress us with how efficient the machine is. The other issue is, why not having a receiving platform on the the side of the splitter, to facilitate stacking or shipping? signal44 has it all wrong with his attitude. Safety and ten fingers at the end of the day are the bottom line.

  • @LIFELOVEHEALTH my hands would be on top of the logs while running the logs through

  • @LIFELOVEHEALTH ...and, there's no need to break his back to impress viewers, either. Bend at the knees, not at the waist.

  • I think, beside the redneck log splitter this is the most dangerous splitter I have ever seen. I guess he will sue them as soon as his first few fingers get split from his hand or does it say finger splitting danger in the manual lol

  • dangerous machine

  • @CONjubas dangerous if ur a pussy and dont have any common sense, retard

  • Great Workout !

But too fast for me - I got no spare fingers

  • @milovmail1 only left hand is in danger... :)

  • sweet jesus thats awesom i want one asap i love it

  • what's the force on this thing? guessing at least 50 tons as fast as it goes through, no bogging down or stalling at all

  • @s1l3nze that' because he's splitting redwood.. which is not a hardwood. I'd like to see this thing take on some hardwood maple, ash, or oak... I dont think it would be nearly as fast, or impressive....

  • watch your fingers hahaha

  • Nice job. Please try and keep your hand on the topside if the wood being split. Not the end by the wedge. Trust me on this.

  • I like to see people work, watching it with a good glas off wine on my cough.

  • foot pedal better

  • its so fast it blows your hair off your head lol jj - i have a super split - love it- it also has made my hair fall out..... nice vid

  • So simple and so efficient.Cool!

  • this is what real men do!

  • its a nice splitter faster than my 40ton but i think i would loose a finger. to fast for me.

  • Good work! Nice splitter!

  • Is this in 'real time' - seems fast.

  • Nice and fast! Can i bay it in Sweden?

  • dude think about your fingers!!

  • HAAAAARG........please, be careful!!!

  • Be very careful with that! Never put your fingers infront of the log!

  • I always wanted one of those, but Granddaddy just laughed and said a maul built character..

  • Looks so easy to use why not teach your wife to use and then you can have a beer.

  • wow soo much faster then my axe

  • Вот это дровосек))--класс.

  • whats the cost of this splitter?

  • Nice :D Bello

  • obviously he is trying to impress us with speed. its just a matter of time....

  • @Xittin most likely it is a man who uses this machine for a living, and knows the machine well, and operates quickly to maximize his profits.

  • @ilovegoatsecks

yeah, you might be right, but it sure looked like he tried to show how fast he could be. I mean, he thowed himself over that pile of logs as if the cambatteries would run out of juice

  • what type of wood is that?

  • Awesome machine. BUT, I would hate to see you lose some fingers. You have "at least on this video" a bad habit of leaving your hand out in front of the log as its going through the splitter.

  • how much did it cost $

  • how long did it take to split that stack of wood

  • nice lookin wood...

  • @BrandorT Thats what she said.

  • Cool littel machine, way productive, and to ya all who are breaking this guys balls, WHY? He is not making you watch this vid, buy his machine, do it his way or stroke him off, I hate internet tough children.

  • dumbest thing ever, how lazy can you get?

  • @shurtugal3010

LAZY? Handling all the wood it self is a workout. All he's doing is getting it done faster.

  • why not using a triple blade on the static end?

This could easy break 4 or five parts in one shot and your 'hand work' would be much less.

What do you think? Maybe a circular blade with segments like a star with 5 or 6 arms.

If you also offset each blade/arm a bit, the forces are deviated equally one after the other.

Take care of your hands buddy!!!

  • Nice hands... Still 10 fingers???

  • This is "gay" wood! Splits so easy, like cutting a pack of playing cards. Be funny to see this machine on real logs which chew up and don't just crack open. Great to have this sort of easy wood, if you can find it.

  • Rushing and doing repetitive operations is the number one reason why accident occur

  • Watch those fingers Brah.

  • SWEET!

  • the republicans with their really big small government need to make dat thing safer

  • where did you get this splitter

  • Holy shit I get nervous just from watching this!

  • Has anyone noticed that all the wood that is being split in this vid is straight grained gravey? This stuff could be split with a maul in one shot. Why don't they show how this machine splits in the real world with knotty hickory, gum or oak?

  • Made faster by speeding up the video Good one..!!

  • @TheAnonymouse01 that is incorrect , these machines use the weight of a flywheel rather than hydraulics.......

  • @fergfergferg123 Did not say it was Hydraulic or Flywheel I said the video was sped up and jeky making it look faster than it is,I have worked in vid for around 25yrs so know a jerky missframed vid that looks sped up as dropping frames..? BTW I would love to see it hit a big Knot in the wood as all straight grained just to ad.. Machine looks good vid needs re-doing at proper frame rate/speed.. Kudos my Friend Enjoy..!!

  • @TheAnonymouse01 yes probably exported at incorrect frame rate or source file wrong rate, these things are tough!!! There is a video were someone had added another flywheel, the thing rips through everything! yes a hydraulic log splitter goes through knots better. I personally prefer my splitting maul which I added a solid steel handle to , it weighs 20lb, and will go straight through oak, it is also a good work out!

  • @fergfergferg123 Np's at all it does the job why i was interested a m8 of mine made a big one with a 9tonne ram on it with an adjustable x piece that cuts a log or 2 logs depending on length into 4 from one log might post it one day as have some vid of it here and give you a look..has a Large log lifter on it as well. cable lift from ram small Honda motor on it runs all about the size of your motor.. Only uses a sniff of fuel per hour..CUL.... :-)

All The Best Cheers from Ozz.!!

  • @TheAnonymouse01 yeah , i dont have one like this Just a hydraulic once that goes onto a tractor, that it about 30 tons but it is rather slow, compared to this thing. I prefer using the maul!.

  • thats doing work ha im 17 and have a normal log splitter i wish i had 4g to spend id tottaly buy that

  • but who uses that much firewood to need a machine for it

  • good way to loose some fingers

  • i will have to say that there are a few times your hand is on the end of the log and that you reached across the rams path. that things does have greater speed than hydraulic units.

  • anyone else feel like cutting wood now ? lol

  • wow!! IS THIS MACHINE STILL AVAILABLE? WHERE AND WHAT BRAND?

  • @jan1761 it's called Super Splitter and the website is supersplit . com

  • Nice.Did you made that,or you buy it,and where.

  • anyone have a link to the website where you can buy it? thank you

  • i think that his complasency for the machine will eventualy catch up to him =3-

  • hmmm it needs a foot pedal that stops that arm pushing as soon as you touch it. Or something, I could see many digits being lost in this somehow.

  • that baby moves right along

  • An accident waiting to happen... Great firewood though... Hope your finger wont get hurt in that rush...

  • I have one too, and I love it. Everyone who see's it up close thinks it the bomb. Since I bought it I love to split wood and do so now for fun.

  • what was the wd40 used for?

  • @Billwis52 The bearing that lift's the rack gear get's gummed up with pitch and the wd40 helps keep it moving so the arm retract's. That is the biggest problem with this machine for me.

  • nice job and it's good to see someone who isn't sfraid to work and get the job done. I seen the replys about safety and watched your hand positions, the were always on top or to the side of the wood, never covering the end, I think good habits far outweigh weraing the "proper safty gear" and expecting it to make up for poor work habits. Good job and sure makes my hyd splitter look slow ;-)

  • good but, you stand there to see κοψιμο ριζας

  • Where can I get one?

  • SUPER MASZYNA, ALE PRODUCENT NIE CHCE MI JEJ PRZYSLAC DO EUROPY( DO POLSKI)- MOZE KTOS WIE GDZIE KUPIC TĄ LUPARKE W EUROPIE???

  • I can't believe you leave your hand on the front of the log at all.

  • i have a bad feeling about his left hand.

  • can this split a hunk of cheese in half ???

  • im still way faster with an ax!

  • bullshlt.

  • I have a Super Split from mid 70's and it still performs as well as the one shown here...never even came close to losing any appendages!

  • molto pericoloso.

  • @ivonno1 Sì, può essere molto pericoloso

  • @ivonno1 ya no safety glass or ear plugs either

  • Is it ideal to cut watermellon using this?

  • Great video - impressive speed. I saw that DR is making/selling these now. What did yours cost ?

  • How about some safety glasses, ear plugs and gloves?

  • He's done that before.

  • Keep doing it like that and you can videotape your trip to the emergency room. Get a close up shot of your mangled fingers. I'll give that a thumbs up.

  • @localcrew i was watching and waiting for that to happen..saddly it didn't.

  • @localcrew haha You have you're self a deal if i cut my finger's off i will film my trip to the emergency room.

  • @jfisk23 Deal! No ketchup either. I can tell a fake, ya know.

True story: Guy I know and his son have a big-ass firewood processor. Well for some reason my friend Dale (who should know better) starts messing around near a belt & pulley while it's running. Gets his hand stuck in there and it smashes his left thumb and severs his index finger. So while he's bleeding and staring... his dog grabs the finger and runs off with it! So now his dog has a taste for human flesh. That can't be good.

  • @localcrew Your right he does seem a little to comfortable, that's when bad shit happens..

  • @localcrew I had to keep counting the fingers on his left hand also.

  • @localcrew see my vids7learn herbs like kelp,dill,dock,dandelion,coriander,cayenne ETC

  • i gotta get one, my 22 ton hydrolic one is so dam slow

  • Axe

  • Looks like someone who was promised something "As soon as all that firewood is split." She never thought he'd have it done in ten minutes.

  • The operator is a bad ass, look at him go.

  • I will get on theseawsome looking machines....but i would have to see it split some nice hard woods like euc, oak, maple, citrus etc.

  • where do you get one like this? looks powerful and fast, mine's just powerful lol

  • I wan't to see it do some Burr Oak

  • Dude... You got some talent... fast. I bet the Redwood smells great. Here out east, our best burning wood is maple and beech.

  • not bad , how does it do on Popular ?

  • hard to watch ur hand being so close to the wedge,,

  • great splitter, but man you left hand is SO CLOSE to the wedge it's scary. Be careful brother, keep your hand on TOP of the wood, not in FRONT.

  • Awesome splitter. What model is it and have you made any modifications to it? Thanks for your time.
