how about you look up milton friedman, ron pauls economic mentor, who was the economic adviser to augusto pinochet in chile in the 1970's. see what libertarian economics did to that country. it gave it the highest inflation rates in the world, above 20% unemployment, eradicated the middle class and impoverished millions. yea, but who cares about facts when you can talk about how good ron paul is at...um....telling the truth!!

No, ron paul's economic influences are strictly Austrian economists von mises, Hayek hazlitt etc...NOT milton Friedman (just to fact check you). Also Chile's economy has evolved to one of the BEST systems in South America, that is what Austrian economics is about, short term pain for long term gain...a concept today's politicians have little use for because they only look at re elections, they dont really give a crap about the people or the future
