In Constantine's version for American Idol, it lacks that soul, and becomes a rushed version of what it used to be. I dont think it's fair to bash a person who covers songs. It's called a cover for a reason becuz the real person isnt singing it so stop expecting to hear the original person's voice. The only thing that matters is did they do a good enough job to listen to it. Im sure we've all heard different versions that either did good or it just didnt sound right. Im only concerned with did it sound pleasing to my ears. Just my opinion though....
