First of all this was 8 months ago. Did you read ALL the comments? Nice Sat. night ;) Second of all Kelly Clarkson isn't bad but she's just holding on by a string in the music industry. Her last or was is second last, album almost killed her. Obviously you're a big fan, hence the name therefore you're obviously not a rock/metal fan like I am. I think compared to Nikki, Kelly doesn't have that much range, she can hit a high note, if Nikki wanted to I'm sure she could too.

@RheartJatICCA Tamyra may be a stronger Vocalist but that doesn't make her a better Artist. When I voted during Season One I voted for someone whose CD I would actually buy. So I piad attention to Voice, Style, etc I prefered Nikki's voice and style. I voted for her every week. I do like Tamyra but they're completely different styles of music. Its like trying to compare a Janis Joplin to a Aretha Franklin or a Madonna to a Celine Dion.

Shouting on key is appropriate..its basically singing only projecting your voice louder...and in some cases just adding that extra bit of emotion. Have you ever watched Janis Joplin? or even Joan Jett? Maybe you should do some research on rock. Bonnie Tyler's version is very shouty in chrous...so whats your point? Your arguments are sad lol

Actually its mean something it means I worked with a piano weekly and hear near perfect pitch, which flys in the face of your claim that I'm tone deaf. I'm an okay singer...I really dont consider myself a "Singer" I went into Vocal Training to help me in the area of Musical Theatre..since theatre was my focus. So the only time I sing is in musicals

tempo is her own style and it's only slightly off key in some places. And shouty it was not. It is quite hard to sing like she does there because of the amount of vibration at that volume it's very hard to keep your voice controlled.

They said they were impressed and they liked that she was different. Paula and Simon both mentioned they felt she shouted a bit much, but that they still liked it. Simon went on to say that he liked her cause she was orginal and that she was more what the competition should be about and that he hopes she does really well in the competition cause he thinks she deserves to.
