@carloslvr1 Elizabeth can't come aboard the ship because because the people in it are immortals, and the main purpose of the ship is to ferry souls in the afterlife which means that a living person cannot come on board. I also think its because Will and Elizabeth had a son and it's not actually a life you would want for your son, to grow up in tough conditions and living in a pirate boat all his life. He could only see Elizabeth every ten years =(

The urgency when she runs after him calling his name, the bond they share over the guardianship of his heart, the simple pleasure of closeness (1:38). how she trembles at 1:43, the sorrow in his eyes at 2:08-09. It gets me EVERY time. Will has more passion and love for Elizabeth with his heart carved out then most people ever have. He doesn't need his heart as long as she has it. He loves her with more than his heart, but also his soul.

I think the only thing to make this better (without totally creating a new scene) would be a few tears, a hug, maybe an onscreen "I love you/I'll be waiting for you/I'll remember you" promise... and mostly I would have loved to to see Elizabeth run out into the breaking waves just as the green flashes in the sky and fall to her knees instead of just standing there the whole time. But it was still amazing this way too.
