do you think just-add-water pancake mix would work to make a pancake ball? the cook time would probably be significantly less... and who doesn't love pancakes?
Tinny, your lighting is overexposed in the close-ups because your background is dark, and your camera tries to compensate. Try putting the item right up next to the camera, so the camera is forced to expose for that instead of the background.
whats really wonderful about that pot is its a 2 in one. and oven and a standard pot. thats pretty inovative. u seem to turn the ultralight backpacking food world upside down with ur innovations. good work.
The cook times are they only for the bongo or will the soda can stove be close. Maybe you could try one of these to see if it will work. Great review keep them coming.
very good. Perhaps if you made the dough so that there was no stickiness to your hand, (give the flour time to absorb the water, 1/2 hour) you can get the cook time to 12 minutes, remembering that alcohol consumption may be critical in the hiker's choice whether or not to cook bread/cake.
by the way, for your lighting issue, try hanging a white sheet, or some form of white cloth between the light sorce and what your filming. this will difuse the light some, and lighting up that bright spots a good bit,
posted a vid response of me doing some baking in a german mess kit...inspired by your vids, keep up the great work tinny. Im going to order one of your stoves as soon as I have the means.
Tinny, on your light situation. Try to defuse the light just a bit. Your face comes out fine but anything that is reflective or white gets washed out. I hope that helps. 8-)
Tinny I think you hit a home run, at least for me you did. You really reduce the trial and error curve for me. I could never of made so much progress by myself, Thank you
LOL have a GRATE day.....

biscuits, are they the same thing we call scones over in the uk? or dumplings?

They are scones. An internet search for biscuits led me to the best demonstrated method.
