The Teltschiks do a respectable job here but the credit bothers me. Mr. Teltschik may have divided this up for 2 pianos, but the arrangement they're playing is about 95% the fabulous Aloys Schulz-Evler's Concert Arabesques on The Blue Danube which is written for solo piano. For the real thing, check out the Josef Lhevinne recording of it which is on YT in two versions, a piano roll and the jaw dropping 1928 acoustic recording which is among the most amazing piano recordings ever made.
i dont play the piano but i just love hearing to classic music like this. it s just a miracle of God how these two synchronize their playing!!! Absolutely amazing :)
Does anyone know where I might get this music? I played it 20+ years ago, my teacher has since passed away and I've no idea where her music went. I've tried on line with no luck. Perhaps one of you might know or at least have an idea.
the sheet of this has no stock in the world.they stopped publishing this one.

Waltz are always in 3/4 (or any compound meter such as 6/8, 9/8 etc...)

Wow... very advanced version but I don't believe it feels the same as the "original". I would completely have too agree whith you eyesblue100

Hi
while they are trained and skilled piano players, this is a very bad rendition of the blue danube.I find it harsh and cold.
eyesblue100 2 years ago
no. too much rushing around the music. this is a german walzer, so play it german
physikphilosoph 2 years ago
German?!
Walzers come from Austria, especially this one.
Where do you come from?! Austria is no part of Germany, 'physkphilosoph' seems German but then you would have to know that...
Uenosense 2 years ago
Hi, i'm a mixed guy father 1/4 Austrian and 3/4 Italian and mother german.
Austrians and germans are almost the same mentality, almost.
In my only opinion too much pedal, and too strong. But yeah, my first comment is not written very well...
