I can understand they wanted to make Dylan an action hero (in the comics he is very passive) But they went too far. He fights superstrong vampires and zombies with bare hands. It truly saddens me, because the effects were pretty good, meaning they had a good budget, so its not like they couldnt hire a better writer

I'm a Dylan Dog comic book fan and I liked the film, it's not 100% accurate, comic book has Dylan living in London, the movie is set in New Orleans. Comic book has Groucho, movie probably couldn't get the rights to use Groucho Marx in a movie so they replaced him with another partner, who is actually pretty funny. Comic book Dylan is the investigator of the occult, movie Dylan is like a referee between vampires vs werewolves vs zombies.

The movie is good when taken for what it is, A movie.
