  • @XMSTARSHIP2 lol...thanks for watching

  • Great overview, thanks for doing this. Welcome back!

  • @WoodenFrogs thank you. =)

  • Thanks for the informative video. I always enjoy learning more about different lock systems. I am looking forward to your next one, so glad to see you back! Cheers!

  • DUDE you rock as per.....Fantastic vids. I learnt stuff, impressive selection.

Do u have any locks with 3 (tertiary) security layers?

    I hate side bars

  • @clodester =) why thank you, mike...

per your query, i guess you could call the schlage Primus Everes tri-layer

    mechanical element.

    1.inline 6-pin pin tumbler

    2. 5 finger pins

    3. the Everest check pin

(the check pin is more for key control, but it does in fact provide an added layer, especially if it's presence is unknown to the attacker.)

  • Great to have you back!

  • i miss your picks and thanks for the info xD

  • Hey Wizwazzle! Damn it's been a long time since I was a part of this scene. I just wanted to add a tidbit of info in the ASSA Twin sidebar mechanism. There is actually not only vertical raising of the fingerpin but also rotational maneuvering (like the medeco) of the pin for the slot in the pin to align with the sidebar. You know I work with this shit now :P

  • @SSnor hey old bud.

nice 2 b back. go back to class..ssnor ;) actually no rotation of the side pins in the twin. look here:

google: lockwiki click ASSA twin 6000 for a complete breakdown.

NO rotation.the sidepins are all the same . it is the SIDEBAR that is cut in the twin.

  • @wizwazzle i think you are referring to the twin combi Ssnor =)

  • @wizwazzle My bad, you are completely right. I guess I wasn't paying attention :P

  • @SSnor no sweat =) hey you should drop by keypicking and say hello sometime...everyone misses you.

  • thanks for the info :)

  • Respect

  • yay you are back, hang in there
