All of Haddock's shows hit close enough to nerves that I was surprised they were on the air at all. He has a multi-valued orientation that shows in his development of characters that are not all bad or all good, and in his well-reasoned understanding of corruption and the drug war. I got the sense that he had to self-censor a lot to get it on the air, but he was still able to deliver a great show. The promotions don't do it justice. I miss having it to look forward to once a week.
I agree with byline...one of the best shows in North America bar none. In quality this show is comparable to The Wire. To everyone who loves this show, please let the CBC brass and your government officials knows you want it to continue. The creator, Haddock, has mentioned in the news the CBC wants this show dead. (Maybe it hits a little too close to home for the US and Canadian governments?)
This is a great show, probably the best thing on TV right now. (And not just Canadian TV. American TV, as well.) Tight, complex writing complemented by beautifully deft acting. Can't recommend "Intelligence" highly enough.

If you've seen "Da Vinci's Inquest," then you have some idea of the high quality that "Intelligence" brings to the table every week.
