It is a good radio, I own one. But I noticed that when you make the automatic tuner match into a 50-ohm coax cable, it gives off only half the power compared to what you get when you connect it straight to the 50-ohm BNC connector. That would mean 3dB is lost in the tuner network, which seems high to me. Is your unit also showing that phenomenon? Thanks.

Hello, I have tried to measure the output power in both connectors with and without tuner but the power is the same, perhaps a couple of Watts less (no more) in the front screw connector. May be there is no matched 50 Ohm impendance in the point where you connect your Wattmeter, I believe...
