@fufuflower, I use a Head Prestige Mid and that racquet is the exact opposite, all control and no power. My friends (all of us high level club players) make fun of me for that fact. You may be thinking of Babolat racquets, they are generally all power, "less" control.

Head prestige line is amongst the most popular racquets amongst challenger level players and pro's. Tons of control. Wilson has some cannons but also have some control racquets like the k90...

I dunno about u guys but when my strings are about to break, the ball comes off the racket like in 1:32 as a high looper even though i hit it with the right form. So then when I start hitting these wierd loopy shots I know my strings are loosening/breaking. I dunno if that's been the experience with you guys.
