How do feel about this kayak? Im in between a old Prowler 13 like this one, or the new Scambler 11. What will I like better for long distances? Before answering, kep in mind that the new Scrambler 11 is more bullet-shaped.

I usually paddle around 5 miles a day. Thanks in advance!

@HaPPyPwNy Haven't tested any of the new ones but sure the hull shapes for respective models are probably same as they were. Before i bought this i tested a scrambler back to back with a scupper pro and one of these. Prowler definately paddles faster and has more load capacity. Consider how you will transport it as well and do you go out in calm or any conditions, inshore or offshore? You should have access to demo models over there, try them out.

Best to try one out yourself. everyone has different body mass and technique so hard to say. A tandem or double kayak will always be heavier due to extra size. Get to your local shop and do some testing on the water

Way to edit in the clip of that truck! I gotta say, I've kayak'd off the San Juan Islands and it is the best feeling in the world. So peaceful. Napier is sucha beautiful place, the water is so blue.
