Don't really care about people who consume bluefin,I don't touch it anyway.Albacore which is a sustianable fishery does worry me.The prices went sky high last summer for fishers and consumers.This has me concerned that fish companies antisapate irradiated fish this year.Its contamination of the foodchain of the whole north pacific thats a possibilty!
I won't be buying any more canned Tuna once my stocks have gone. In Australia most of the sensibly priced brands are tinned in Vietnam but of course who knows where they are caught.
Meat and fish products are not the only things that take up radioactivity from their surroundings, vegetables do too. Being a veggie is nopt protection whatsoever. In fact in Portugal they are monitoring vegetable levels in the area around former uranium mines.
I'm gonna get a Geiger counter and run it over my Tuna salad! I suggest the people of Japan and the rest of the world rethink their entre of seafood delights. Do you know what you are eating? Time for humans with brains to go back to a veggie diet and grow it yourself, if you know what's good for you!!! Peace Out. MWUD??????
@manwhatupduck The problem is individual hot particles will not set off your Geiger counter, yet you will ingest them and they will go into your fat or bone and put out radiation in your body for years to come - a future cancer bomb just waiting to happen. Please read more on Hot particles.
@alstar70 OMG, you are so right on the spot on this one!! It totally sucks. Best food in the food comes from Japan, or used to. Hot particles spreading in the atmosphere and the ocean is occuring and nobody seems to be paying any attention. Whoa. Peace Out. MWUD???? Thanks for the info.
@JP5466 The radiation is limited, but the need of food is universal, and hunger often leads to crime and war, and that, as you say, is only a matter of time, globally.

@JucheeTV.
You are Right!
it is interesting that contaminated goods, may come from other parts of Europe.
from countries such as Finland, Norway and even Britain.
Europe has a fair number of contaminated areas.In Germany most of them are in Bavaria,in German Alps!.
In order to Understand the true extent of contamination of European soils,with radioactive fallout, We need to see the map.
(Goggle/Type):
CHERNOBYL RADIOACTIVE MAP.
and than Click on: Google "images".
