@babsbarbella indie isn't actually a genre, try and define it, you can't. Interpol could never be topped by these guys, I've never been to a party where people were dancing to this.

I somehow agree with you that they possess an indie sound;however, I think that they are not folk. For me, at least, Mumford and Sons, Laura Marling, and Dylan are folk. BBC sounds great but nothing like folk at all.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great song, but part of the higher pitched guitar (at the start and repeated later in the song) is exactly like "Sewn" by The Feeling. Absolutely not suggesting plagiarism, just very similar!
