I will always be proud of somalia and hopefully after thier struggles they realise they can just be like dubai the amount of rich and oil laying under thier country and they dont even realise it if they straihten up and invest in it for MILLIONS... so somalia will be a safe place to visit my family/relatives again
A big thank you from Oxfam Canada for your inspirational journey that has raised much needed funds to support the East Africa Crisis and heightened people’s understanding of the struggles and challenges that so many are facing in Somalia.
@Knaanology I think we should look at the statement PRACTICING MUSLIMS. These 7 brave souls took the time to plan and reach out to their fellow brothers and sisters. If this is not faith in action, I don't know what is! Bravo and God bless you all.
@knaanology isn't it not mandatory to to be fasting when you are traveling!!?!! Just being straight up and isn't it wrong to be listening to Knaan's music Just being straight up.!!!! WHY CANT PEOPLE JUST APPRECIATE THINGS FOR WHAT THEY ARE AND STOP HATING ON YOUTH TRYING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!!! WHAT DOES WHAT THEIR WEARING AND OR NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH GOOD INTENTIONS AND INSPIRATIONAL GOALS. JUST BEING STRAIGHT UP YOOOOOO
its soo sad i never even heard of this country really makes me cry to see ppl suffering especially those babies... makes me thankful very much for my life and i don't even have a lot
@Knaanology Firstly, u r a nob, secondly, u will always be a nob son of a MOOORYAAN. A prime examble of when your country is run by warloards, alshabaab-arab wannabes. so go volunteer you nearest church, where they raising money for ur fuckt up knaanology ppl. while u r at it ask for pork tenderloin to send for ur ADEEROS.
If a girl with no hijab bothars u, howcome these filty, starfing, halfnaked ppl bother u? but then i guess u r with these gun toting, ruthles, psychopat, hellbent knaanology
mansha alaah mansha alaa ,,, these young mand and women did a great job. please look at what they are trying to tell you and how they are trying to understand those who are in somali walking miles for food to sarvive for a day. plz and plz their action speaks loader than a word. lets not get bussy on each other and start do some actions. whatever it is it counts remember that and insha allah always helps us when we help each other.
Infact there is a bad situation in somalia because our people is dying for the worst starvation ever seen since 60yrs ago, therefore we must help each other, if we help each other ALLAH will help us.
Good work and don't forget to cover your hair as its obliged. Just telling you in case you forgotten but the rest ..you guys did a fantastic job and may god be with you.
@eastman1905 What does covering the hair have to do with this?
I started covering my hair in November 2010 but I hate when people start lecturing others. I'd rather see an uncovered lady trying to help her fellow human beings than someone who covers her hair but doesn't do a single thing to help society in general.
Fadlan Adinka isa saxa marka hore sababtoo Soomaalida waa dad Muslim ah Xijaabkane waa qeyb weyn oo biyo kama dhibcaan ah diinteena Suuban, so try to wear Hijab and correct yourself before fund rising...or doing other good deeds thanks
Please stop asking for money every 10 years, u doin the job for the bblue devil. I was raising money for somalia famine1, what we need to be asking is solutions but not for money. how do saharan african ppl survive? how about asking why not ppl in somaliland are not suffering? plz say no to handouts and ask for solutions for the sake of somali famine3.
it's the month of ramadan insha'alaah let's start increasing our ibaadaat and beg allah to be mercy full on us us we seem to distance from allaah often times. and live our lives in accordance with islam may allaah guide us all. wasalamu alaykum warahmah.
I find you girls and (boy) so inspiring! Please do not let any of the haters get you down! People always talk and judge, but what we need in this world are people like you, that raise their heads up, look forward with confidence, and DO! Thank you for your bravery and good luck on your walk, but you already have succeeded because you have TRIED! Somalia 4 EVER.
BRAVO, you did great job, Somalia belongs to you, and you belongs to Somalia, doesn’t matter where you born or grow up, we need to link our arms, and remember one thing at the end your future will be in your home country, World are changing economically and politically significantly
hallo again from central Somalia town called Elbur
I'm moved by what you are doing and how you are helping your homeland. I am 14 year old boy who lives in London and we are doing a charity fundraising on Sunday and were wondering how to do something like this here. Who do I look for a sponsor, please give us info on how to start a sponsered walk. My mum is a community nurse and she drives everywhere for 5 hours a day from 1 patient to another and shes willing to walk for days for Somalia. Please help for information. Thank you
good job. Lets us stand for the greater good of our people. This is a good example of those who don't leave near that area to whatever they can do to feed one child in this month of Ramaden. And Allah make it easy for you guys.
Good idea. Plan ahead. Do your research on the path you will be taking. Consult the proper authorities. Consider your safety. From what I see most of you Are girls. You will be spending some nights on the way. It is summer and might really get hot. Hydrate yourselves.Take care.
I think what you guys are going is great, however, I was just wondering how you are going to do this while fasting? It might be too much for your physical health. InshaAllah, I hope that all of you will be fasting.
first of all im really moved by your great initiative and the amazing idea. i will support you guys from all the way in Australia mostly spiritually but also in any other way.
just couple of points, put your correct tumblr address in the description, the facebook page and the twitter easier to click and find you guys.
Once again im really proud of you guys.may allah reward you and help our people at the same time by making life ease for them. ameen
Great job guys, mashallah! may your event be a success. we are also organizing a large scale fundraiser in Toronto featuring Boonaa Muhammad. It'll be held at Anatolia Masjid in Mississauga on July 31st at 7pm. Please spread the word and help us to promote this. May Allah provide relief to the victims of the East African drought (aamiin)!
