  • The people who made KOTOR 1 and 2 knew what they were doing. The first one was one heck of an adventure, great storyline and all. The second however, gave me the feeling of loneliness, like something was missing (the jedi), both were deeply emotional, but the second one was far darker, i swear i was going to be attacked everywhere i went. *shudders*

  • @NostalgicSince2005 ..negative. just means your as unimportant as can be..being you and all.

  • @NostalgicSince2005 -what with the economy and the state of the world and all being what it is like limeware glass that could crash into a billion pieces if one or a series of natural disasters struck, and the need to be prepared on a dime to hide in camo in the grass with a limited supply of food and god knows how many enemys in between your family and security meanwhile while playing a game depending on fragile economic weather of electricty, the dollar and unavoidable realities of life.. alot.

  • @NostalgicSince2005 ..easy really.. cant pick up the keyboard/controller pop thebloody game into the machine and start playing= not smart enough to play it.. erg open minded or something.. i only started using not smart enough because you started slinging 'stupid' around..

but seriously puns aside.. the game being relativley new still has and still retains a feeling of eerieness, being in uncharted places in lucases world and all(therego in his graying head) and with the economy and all -

  • @NostalgicSince2005 or not smart enough. theres always that too.. key board buttons too big? uug ugg...

  • @NostalgicSince2005 it has the same relevance. only question is now.. are you brave enough to explore a game universe far bigger than kotor ever was.

  • Would bring kotor III but just one mmo

  • So bad i thought they wou

  • The scary part about this is, in Kotor 1 Korriban was rather lively. In Kotor 2 it's just empty, desolate, and almost lifeless.

  • @NostalgicSince2005 what isnt coming

  • As the ancient sith still silently scream trapped in the void, the darkness calls to Korriban. And God help those brave enough to answer it...

  • Hearing this on Korriban in KOTOR II stresses me the f--k out.

  • were is kotor 3 fuck this old republic shit

  • @mwvr44 lol no fuck you

  • @Acisao dnt b mad i have a diffrent opinion im pissed they aint make a kotor 3 4 xbox 360 shit would b ill

  • @Acisao

lol no, fuck YOU! And fuck this mmo shit too!!!

  • The music in number two is creepier than the first because the first game was about Revan, a Lord with deep connection with the Force; While the second game is about The Exile, the death of The Force. Which do you think creepy music is suitable for?

  • Korriban was freakin' disturbing in KotOR 1. In KotOR II it's double so.

It's the music. I love how you can practically hear the spirits of the sith wailing at you in the music.

  • The Kotor 2 soundtrack just did a really good job of emphasizing that the entire galaxy was under a shroud of the Dark Side. Everything is just... unsettling and along with the music, the characters and setting showed it. I loved how it brought a truly dark and creepy feel to Star Wars without it not feeling like Star Wars.

  • Malachor theme was the creepiest .

I remember landing there for the first time and all that shit + those damned beasts that feed on dark side of the force o.O

  • Apathy is Death!

  • @Bla5terCh1ef Apathy is Death!

  • Now my problem was when I played this I woke up at 6:00am and played this at dark. And seeing Korriban like this just freaked me out so much 0_0 the forgotten ghosts moaning and the tomb...don't get me started on the tomb!

  • Bioware should just forget TOR and complete this game.

Although, KOTOR III would be nice too...

  • Anyone who hasn't heard, go to the page deadlystream . com

This is the home page of the mod TSLRCM. It improves the game soooo much. It restores lost content, completes the storyline etc.

You can read more on the page.

    Btw, trailer for the mod:

    watch?v=8rOBUChvxp8

    and another:

    watch?v=Nh3N1qXg9bU

  • Ughhh, anyone of you guys wondering anything after Star Wars: Return of the Jedi?

I've been researching about Star Wars, after "Return of the Jedi", and the they had another war called the, Yuuzhan Vong War. And it's really cool, they made comics about it, I think, but they should make a video game about it. It'd be somethin' new.

  • @WookieRebellion501 yeah if u read new jedi order series ur find out about the vuuzhan vong war 4 years long sad two people died ur find out

  • @clonekaiba6 Yep, I know one of the guys who died. -------SPOILER--------- t's a beloved wookiee, that we always looked up to.

  • @WookieRebellion501 The Yuuzhan Vong were an Ectra-Galactic Species bent on Conquering the Galaxy. They even held Coruscant for a little while. Yes, Im a Star Wars nerd.

  • @AmericanPatriot22597 I'm a Star Wars nerd too, lol. But I'd love to watch a movie or a cartoon about the Yuzhaan Vong War!

  • @WookieRebellion501 that would be so cool

  • quality really is rubbish

  • @igorbog88 Quality is not the point, it's the storyline that counts the most, my friend.

  • 'Get away from her, she's a dark jedi'

  • we can only hope that the old republic reflects kotor 1 and 2 in every way

  • this sounds like indiana jones

  • Nar Shaddaa gave me nightmares as a kid. No joke

  • This really fits Korriban, the birthplace of the Sith and the graveyard planet of the Sith , the resting place of the Dark Lords. Such a brilliant planet. The Sith are ... you can't describe it with words , the music dose it perfectly.

  • Kotor 2 possibly stands in the top 5 of having the best soundtrack in a game. Absolutely captures every emotion and feeling with the storyline and conflict. Its movie quality stuff

  • KOTOR 2 felt a lot more depressing. It made the game unique and made it worth playing. It was epic.

  • i'd love to have one red eye an one blue

  • Creepy! O_O But is good for Korriban!

  • @Sentry1157 well it's not exactly your typical holiday destination ^^

  • KotOR did an excellent job with music which is one of the reasons i play it a whole lot on my 360

  • i think that music makes both games so unique its real masterpiece. My fav track is when darth sion arrives to peragus 5 - so dark and disturbing

  • Ah. . . I remember the days when I was Star Wars Crazy, I was 11 then, and I used to go to my freinds' house and my freind asked me if I could complete this for him, his file was fucked up, so I started another one, when we got to the Sion Part(My username is not a refference to darth sion) we litterally pissed ourselves. . . ahh, the good old days!

  • This is the tomb of Tulak Hord...

  • This movie makes me think of horror movies.

    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! JK

    LOL

  • @babbler254 well said!!

  • The music is a lot darker in KOTOR 2 and so is the story line. I love the music for both KOTORs though.

  • korriban wasnt that freaky in kotor 1 but in kotor 2... i pissed myself when those hssiss dragons popped up when i searched that corpse with this music playing

  • Kotor series has some magnificent music that contributes to the games' epicness; which I think both Mass Effect(1+2) and Dragon Age: Origin cannot surpass.

  • scary on dead korriban

  • perfect! just what I needed!!!!

  • @missblanky5 needed for what?

  • i needed something creepy sounding for a project for school

  • @missblanky5 well you've come to the right place

  • i played kotor 2 on xp it was cool only shucks that it doesnt work on vista.. i hope the kotor 3 will work on vista... else it sucks ass

  • KotOR 2 works on Vista, but only if you change the Mss32.dll-file to the Mss32.dll-file from KotOR 1.

Just google for KotOR 2 Vista fix or something like that.

And... you're not a real Nazi-supporter are you?

  • creepiest tune i have ever heard in a game

  • i heard that it is already out

  • when the hell the gone make kotor 3 the realy must.. :S

  • They was planning the game but it got canceled

so... Now they r making The Old Republic an mmo rpg

  • Kotor 3 is going to be Star Wars: The Old Republic the mmorpg

  • this is even creepier than the main theme. I remeber when I first played the game. I had one rule....NEVER PLAY AT NIGHT..awesome game

  • I was actually reading Darth Bane Path of Destruction when listening to this, and Bane just arrived at Korriban for the first time, and I can totally picture him lookin gout at the Valley with this music in the background

  • Awesome book, like both a lot. Normally don't read anything like a game book. But, i'm glad i did with those two.

  • to me by far the best part of the game is when you relieve the moments of your dark past and when you haft to face the present in that tomb of elusions the scenery is perfect and the song is even more chilling than this!

  • true

  • I agree that this music is creepy, why didn't they make more epic game, oh Lucas Arts made it into a crappy MMO. What a piece of sh*t and surely that that MMO wont beat WoW cuz it had destroyed every MMO that came.

  • i argree with you i hate mmo, just a waste of time, its gonna turn us into no-life nerds... id rather play kotor 3 finish it 3 times and thats it... they could add a online version... but NOT put the revan and exile story into that fucked up mmo

  • @yougonasorry theres no kotor 3 only TOR wich is an MMO =]

  • Well the only very bada** MMO outt there is WoW (World of Warcraft), its a good MMO but the KOTOR MMO just ruins the series.

  • Anyone else that thinks KotOR 2's music is creepier than the first KotOR's music?

Both games' music is awesome though.

  • its a lot darker of a game, a lot more Melancholy in ways too, but it has to set a mood. I've played it like ten times through....

  • Its really a different kind of game, trying to uncover the secrets of the past and has a certain ghostly tinge to it.

  • The music kind of puts you in this mentality... You start to glimpse the bare edges of the galaxy, and what it means to fall to Darkness... I love this game's soundtrack.

  • Sure is. KOTOR 2 is darker than KOTOR 1 anyway.

  • yes it is

  • lol i agree... infact i was just thinking that then i read your comment and i was like "wtf"

  • Kotor 2 is just creepier in general.

  • @AdamWeith Yeah, this is how it went...

    KOTOR: Extremely epic.

KOTOR2: Extremely mysterious and ominous, which in of itself is epic. So long as its not stupid ominousness.

  • @AdamWeith Dude... kotor is simply the best RPG i have ever played hands down...

  • @AdamWeith

Yeah I agree, KOTOR 2 seemed so much darker, you had the bright colourful world of KOTOR 1 then thrown back in in KOTOR 2 knowing nothing that's happened or why......I liked that....added mystery and a nightmarish feel

  • @AdamWeith By far, the entire game itself is much darker and has a lot more depth in the main character. In the first KoToR you were forced to be Revan, In the second one, there was very little history behind you, and it let you decide exactly who you were.

  • @AdamWeith its ment to be the game designers wanted it to be more darker for one thats why they killed of all the jedi and that's why visa tells you all the stuff about the sith that is after u and she basically she saiz ur screwed

  • @jamesdean220103 I'm not trying to be a dick but after reading your comment I can't help it.

It's* meant* to be,* the game designers wanted it to be darker*.* That is why they killed all of* the Jedi* and Visas* tells you all the stuff about the Sith that are* after you. She basically says* you're screwed.

I don't know why, I bothered. I could usually care less about that type of stuff, however i guess i'm just in a mood. lol

  • @sgtchicken Lol I couldn't care less as well, any way I was in a rush, I have Better thing to do then explain to some idiot about the game.

I guess i was in just one of those moods. lol

  • @AdamWeith

Kotor was one big war, but in Kotor 2 everything is torn and empty - you feel the suffering from the war.

  • @AdamWeith The atmosphere the music of KoTOR 2 made the game all the much better, it would've been ever greater though if LucasArts didn't force Obsidian to rush the release of it.

  • @SuperHaloStarwarsFan Someone should remake KOTORII and make KOTORIII with all the time in the world

  • @AdamWeith Yeah, the songs in kotor 2 are surealy much "darker" and creepier.

I think it's because in the first game there was an ongoing war between the sith empire and the republic.

While in this game the war is over, but the sith still exist, only much more elusively, so you really dont know where the enemy is.

  • @AdamWeith Yeah, definitely. Think that's the point though, it's a much darker game. Better than KOTOR 1 though...

  • @AdamWeith this game was creepier because you were supposed to be hunted the whole game keeping you on edge, and you were, as far as the sith knew, the last of your kind

  • @AdamWeith Hmm, a lot more piano and violin and all that jazz.

  • It's because:

kotor = Full-scaled War between the Empire with a Tyrant and the Republic with a Fallen Sith

Kotor 2 = Assassinations, silent creeping betrayal waiting to reveal itself.

  • The puzzles in Korrban where a pain but its what kept the game moving.

  • If it weren't for that trial inside the cave on the korriban planet with the apparitions, Id think this planet got jacked up the most with content wise. Prolly because the release date was rushed. A shame.

  • Isn't it. This game is so epic and dark and mysterious. They could have made it even better if greed didn't always cause rushed games and takeovers of businesses and whatnot. It would have been so great it probably would have caused a third to be made.

  • Left were a group tuk'ata and some stones. I hope in SWTOR they make all ways in the grave free.

  • The grave was sealed off...any holocron would have been deep inside. You just picked up what was left scavanged outside.

  • I always like to hear about what Kreia has to say about Marka ragnos, Tulak Hord, etc.

  • I wonder how does she knows this, she is telling the story almost as she was htere herself, she even knew about Revan meeting Ajunta PAll and she was never there.

  • Hmm, yeah...

  • She did meet Revan at one point, after those events.

  • She was a historian once. She mentioned that. For the Jedi, yes...but no doubt she kept that interest as a Sith.

  • Revan was Kreia's apprentice. That took place before the game.

  • This reminds me of my Ex girlfriend when we met I played this game when we started going out

  • Comment removed

  • Becasue that's when we started to go out when I first played this game

  • I guess thats true with music. Good memory recall mechanism...

  • I hear of creepy and disturbing instrumentals when I think of my Ex too. LOL

  • hahahahahaha

  • HAHH A HAH H A HA SUCKS FOR YOU!

  • @Physconaut Because When I got the game we started dating and I could get her off my mind, and that's why this music remind me of her

  • Korriban Rules!!!1

  • korriban kinda creeps me out on kotor 2,it so eerie

  • I agree. It was just so...lifeless.

  • And so... Dark sided! I wish I were a Sith.

  • yeah, i mean, its hard, kotor had like this wierd essence to it all the time, like you cant explain the expirience

  • Korriban on KotOR made me feel as if I were on a haunted planet being silently stalked by all the dead sith... It was very chilling. I get scared playing Korriban half the time. I really only go to Korriban for the Sith Tomb and inf. experience. :)

  • I actually found it relaxing...at least in the cave. Is that strange? lol. Yeah that tomb was awesome (Ludo Kressh's tomb). It's also the closest you get to seeing Revan...and Malak without a jaw/yellow eyes actually scares me.

  • The most relaxing for me would have to be... "Aboard the Ebon Hawk".

  • Yeah, that's cool too. It's especially relaxing to hear that music on the Ebon Hawk when you learn to read thoughts.

  • I would've said Nar Shaddaa but, that music kind of reminds me of a happier time in my life so I don't like to listen to it much. :/

  • Nar Shaddaa's music doesn't really remind me of anything that I can think of immediately...it just gives the place an air of mystery.

  • I can't explain Nar Shaddaa. It just reminds me of a happier pastime.

  • That planet makes me forget about peop;e with issues.

  • Oh, thanks, I think I´m gonna by it, but I have no idea where I can find it nowdays, `cause the XBox 360 steals all the games...

  • Is this game in XBOX 1???

  • Ayep. For pc too.

  • yes it is

  • the kotor 2 music is more like the star wars film music than the first kotor

  • I have to disagree both Kotor games have a distinct feel to them which is apart from the same old same old from John William's Star Wars score.

  • Damn i love the kotor2 music and also IT IS FUCKING HARD!! IF ANYONE COULD GIVE ME TIPS PLZ TELL ME THEM!!!!

  • make this the last planet you visit before having to go to Dantooine for starters. (by order of Kreia)(giving time for your character to become more and more powerful in between)

  • I think this order is one of the best, dantooine, dxun/onderon, korriban, dxun/onderon again, and last but not least, nar shadda, then you should be ready for whatever you may meet.

  • Forzachelsea, good order but Nar Shaddaa gives you 3 party members (Mira/Hanharr, G0-T0, HK-47) and after it you can give jedi training to Atton. I usually I make it my first planet but feel free to choose any order you wish.

  • I also choose to get it out of the way first because 1: It's the LONGEST planet in the search for the Jedi Masters and 2: I can complete HK before even leaving the damned planet LOL.

  • Narshaddaa is usually my second planet, because it can be a bit hard if you go there first.

  • Oh, then where do you go first?

  • Onderon

  • Yeah, Onderon's music is my fav. The music from when you first enter Iziz is just awesome, and the cantina theme is really upbeat, but almost like something from an old detective movie.

  • i miss dreshdae settlement

  • I'm not scared of a Hissis

In KOTOR 1 I Chose to kill Yuthura and Uthar

and the Sith at the academy

In KOTOR 2 those are the corpses that I Killed in KOTOR 1

  • They (Hissis) are a worthy challange for any Jedi and make great training in certain chambers.

  • In Kotor 1 this place was a training ground and Archialogical dig site for the Sith, in Kotor 2 it's nothing but a graveyard devoid of life. The sounds weining decayed move with the air the wind.

  • i looted a copse and the hissis came out i ran to the hawk and left and never came back there for a long time

  • lol funny i was looting a corpse and i thought i was ready for a hississ but when thay came out my whole party almost died on my last character i ran back to the ebon hawk but other than that i like korriban

  • me too my exile looks like bruce lee

  • what kind of jedi did you pick in the beginning?

  • The first time I did that I freaked out and said "Hell No I'm not doing this"

  • so freaken scary i never went back to korribian

  • i practically ran back to the Ebon hawk and stayed there for a long time.

  • hah ha ha so did I lol

  • This song scared the living shit out of me as I was playing. Never play a game at 2:00 a.m. that is completely diesrted except for invisible giant flesh eating lizards that always manage to be RIGHT behind you when they decide to appear... -.-

  • hahaha true ! Me it was at 3:30 a.m. and my cat make that worse.

  • Yeah the song is creepy...

But if you are scared of this, don't play Quake 4. Motherfuckers jump out from nowhere, trying to rip you in half... And for gods sake don't even think of playing F.E.A.R. !!! Enough said!

    Goodbye!

  • fear is really creepy, but I love that game.

  • I Get chills looking at Korriban(Trychanging the Brightness in the options menu to Dark)

  • That sounds like a good idea actually.

  • this music sounds like your in a Graveyard

  • I swear to God, YOU ARE RIGHT. IN FACT, JUST LISTENING TO IT SOUNDS CREEPY AND MYSTERIOUS AT THE SAME TIME!

  • yeah last Christmas was when I got this game I Mean the Horizon on Korriban its creepy

  • Well Korriban is the graveyard of the ancient sith.

  • true..dead siths

  • it was once a fortress for the old sith, but it was destroyed when the sith first turned on eachother, that was stated in kotor 1
