Watching this video back in 1983 was the very first time I had been exposed to Iron Maiden. I was 12 years old andI was transfixed by this psychotic guy on the microphone, the crazy drummer and the guy who could play bass 100 miles an hour with his fingers. Maiden became my favorite band throughout the rest of the 80s (well, next to Dio and Scorpions).

The crap they call heavy metal these days doesn't even compare to Maiden and Judas Priest. THAT is metal!
