this is the first I hesrd of this car and my first question is, have they gotten sued by jeep yet or is that still to come?

It will never come. If you look at a jeep, it has SEVEN bars in the grill. This unit has SIX. So there is no ground to sue them on. It may look similar, but it isn't the same as a Jeep. Anvil is a great vehicle for sure!

I don't think it's ugly. It sort of brings to mind the early cars, like the Model T and such.

Beauty in cars traditionally results from all kinds of added-on stuff, like fins, grills, paneling, etc. For me, there's a more honest kind of beauty in a stripped-down look.
