@spitlpot Don't be scared, in order to land tricks you must understand the technique, practice and commitment. Committing to the trick is the hardest since it's a mental issue, all I can say my friend is just go for it and accept the fact that sometimes we fall, and when we fall we can get back up and try again.

Anytime you are doing a trick, you should get an open space (bigger than the space you were given in the video) to do your tricks, and I personally find you persistent and strong hearted for trying over and over for landing a kickflip, but I will be honest.. Trying that many times, in that short of a period will only tire you and frustrate you. It's best to be relax, in the zone and having fun.

idk if he answered he question correctly but you can practice bringing your foot bac by popping the board up while staying on it so its like a manual with the tail slapped against the ground then just practice your flick. Flick it and bringit back. Keep practicing till its in your system and your front footwill eventually get on idk about the back foot though it came naturally to me

if you're not flicking it hard enough, then flick it harder. But if you're flicking too hard and it spins too much, catch it with your feet, also bring your legs in faster and don't flick it as hard.

RissuanRoma, bend your needs more, try to jump higher, and perhaps try flicking the board harder and bringing your legs in faster. Remember though, don't get too tensed up, being frustrated can also be a distraction when you are trying to land something. Another tip - Do not throw your board, your board isn't the one that messed up, the person controlling the board messed up. Plus any board can kickflip, no matter the quality.

Ownagedudee123, This is a common mistake with any trick, you just need to commit to a trick. Force yourself to keep your back foot above the tail, you are twisting your body around. You need to just relax, and try a kickflip, just remember to keep your board under you. It's a mental game when you learn a new trick, you need to force yourself to learn and try new techniques, it's about taking risks.

Having a board with good concave does help out a lot. (Concave is the way the board curves in and isn't flat like a piece of wood) but eventually as you get better, it doesn't exactly matter if the board is old or new. I can kickflip on a banana board (thin 70's boards) and the rocket boards (heavy skateboard made for skating pools in the 80's) but the most advice I can give you is in the video, and not to mention practice a lot and you have to commit, you feet need to land on the board.

If it's landing on the griptape side of the skateboard, and not the trucks. You should work on popping it up more, flicking it harder, and to land, suck your legs back in. I've realized some more advice I can give.. If you need to, try and master this trick in the grass or carpet. It even helps if you hold onto something, so that way you can have your hands hold your weight a bit, and help you get an idea on how a kickflip should be landed without using something to hold you up

You to commit by keeping the board under you and making sure when you kick the board, you kick it off the nose (like I show inthe video) if you kick it the way I do, the board should be balanced and leveled. If you need anymore advice, i'm definately willing to tell you how to do things.
