WOW thanks for this video! You've made understanding music so much easier! I've been putting off learning the basics, but your videos and using FL studio explain it such a easy simple and fun way!
in my opinion it's all about creativity but yea, i agree, u do need a few starter tips then u can pick it up urself (on the chord's etc but for me it was trial and error and i'm still learning now), respect and release some tunes man! :D
Indeed, this is awesome man. I'm such a big fan of you'r tutorials and you'r work in general. The things you explain are realy clear and its easy to understand, even when you diden't work with FL before.
Ty man, you help a lot of people with this tutorial!
Your ghost channels look a light light and transparent, and mine doesnt. :O Also, your note bars look like they're a bit round and not completely rectangle. :O
This is an excellent tutorial !!! sadly im not a beginner , its a shame i didnt have access to these videos when i was starting out lol . But very good for the beginner, Hopefully some of the other videos can help me , in other areas where im lacking . But keep up the hard work bruv !!! one little point though , i noticed you was using ghost channels , just for the beginners , it might have been useful , to explain how they do this , but again im not dissing your work !!!!

@Allplussomeminus This is great too - Eventually you won't have to reference any more - so you learn it with out frustration and it will help you harmonize better until then.
it is a 7 note scale , all scales in indian music start with the note C and if we transpose the notes it will change to another scale, In indian music every scale have a particular feel and a best time to play, this scale have a calm feel and it is good to play in the sunrise. The scale in indian music are of two types , with 7 notes and their derivatives. they are known as raaga.
@ste1438 There is still a lot of complexity, tradition, and spirituality in Indian Music. Those concepts don't seem to apply in Western Music any more.
great tutorial as always. but do you know why changing root key works in the opposite direction? C6 is An octave lower than C5 for example when it should be higher.
@dmx1650 yes either go up an octave or down the octave using the same note.If it's not on the same timing and just adding more notes... i'm not sure how to help you as i cannot see what you have written
@ScarBang No, but you should most of the the time - chords found in a scale are call Diatonic Chords. If you start using too many chords out of your scale then you would be working in another scale anyway.
thanks alot man

one good thing to mention also is to notice the 1/2 step count pattern that repeats for majors and for minors. The 4/3 for majors and 3/4 for minors.

@TheKillander It will sound much different -The root is based on a minor chord, instead of a major chord.
