DRAWING ON PAPER IS ALMOST THE SAME AS DRAWING ON PAPER... BUT HARDER. Not only do you have to learn to use(and buy) a tablet or learn how to use a mouse (which is SOO uncomfortable), but you also have to learn how to use the programs, like, say photoshop or Paint tool SAI, which our dear chamoth is using. Sorry for ranting.. And, lemme point out, SOME PROS DRAW ON COMPUTERS TOO!! Thank you.

@sassuke417 Actually I think it requiers a fair amount of both, many mangaka's finish up the final stuff in the computer, but as you say, drawing on paper makes you better then if you only use the computer, since drawing on a computer allows you to make mistakes which makes you sloppy. But when it comes down to toning like this, the computer can be pretty handy.

@sassuke417 That's an extremely closed minded way of thinking, just because it is on the computer, doesn't mean that it isn't still a form of art. In fact, most mangaka this day in age DO apply tone via the computer.

@Edel99 no, not all mangas are done by computer. i use computer coz i dont have any manga materials. such as Deleter, tone, inking pens and whatsoever.
