stranger tore up the rocket club back in the late 80's early 90's, wow...those WERE the days, I am ecstatic to be able to share this now what, 20 years later, who can this be??? they are timeless, have 'em on my ipod....i am gushing, but it is more then well deserved....rip ronnie garvin, you left a lot of amazing memories...
Great Song! Stranger Rocked! I miss the days when they were tearing up the stage. Greg Billings is still making it happen and he just opened for Paul Rogers in Lakeland ... He still sounds awesome!!
i was lucky enough to know ronnie and the rest of stranger pretty well, i was in a band called alien. we played along side and basically in the same clubs that they played in. we would always meet up at the after hours bottle club in tampa a lot of the time, or always hang out in some club in the same town we where both playing in. all i can say is ronnie you are missed. i wish i had stayed a little longer in florida than i did. maybe i could have been there when you needed someone to talk .
Grew up in Tampa/St. Pete; always heard about these guys but they never got the big push or any air play; finally, I went to M.L. Chaser's to see them, wondering if they would live up to their hype; 2 hrs later, I was in awe and ticked off that so many people missed the boat on such a talented band; this song definitely has legs.
They used to kick ass at Club 19 Clearwater FL

I was lucky enough to get hold of one of their cassettes back in the early nineties. Can't understand why they didn't bust the music scene wide open.

First saw this band in my friend's backyard in North Charleston, SC. They opened with Rock the Nation by Montrose. Ronnie dated my friends sister.
Last saw them opening for Blackfoot in Charleston in the early 1980's.
