There is no reason for the IDF to harass gay Palestinians. Same-sex committment ceremonies are legal. There are gay couples in the military who are allowed to serve in the same troop. Israel has support groups for gay people. Palestinian Arabs from the West Bank go to Israel for their only contact with other gay people. It's not uncommon to see same-sex couples holding hands or kissing in public.
