Great commercial...until (imo) the screeching chicken. To me, it contradicts the message Samuel is delivering. That plus the tagline (money speaks in many languages...we understand them all) may come across that one language of money is evil...and Barclays "understands it". This then may also put a different perspective on how money can "liberate the imprisoned", as if referring to all the investment people who (arguably) should be investigated. To me the screech should have not been added.

The people who made those subtle choices were probably adding their own little political statement without the banking people detecting the hidden message. Remember, the people who make adverts are artists in their own right, but often have to do commercial work to pay the bills. Even Ridley Scott began in advertising.
