I have played on these at festivals and let me say .. these are the best sounding entry level drums made! I tell all my students to buy these. What a great sound.
Just discovered the shells are made of Mahogany and are designed much like the classic sets. Bass drum hoops have the nice inlay like in the old days. I am ready to buy a set.
@samleighton95 The toms don't sound bad, they're just tuned for resonance. They don't have the "fat" and "wet" rock sound but rather open and warm. Different isn't a bad thing.
Umm WOW. That honestly one of the best sets I've ever heard. Is there any chance you could do a demo on the Catalina Rock kit with a 24 inch bass drum?

i dont like how people who play jazz, think there toms should sound shit. that kit doesnt have to sound like that, shame.
