@pegasus619Q The bike was modified. We fitted a Deda quil adapter with Deda 38cm compact road bars and some Token clip-on aero bars. We used some old-style dual lever brake levers to allow the bike to be riden safely with hands on top of the bars as kids are unable to use the brakes when on the hoods. Overall it was a bit of fun - especially the aerobars, but it turned out really well, and most of all, safe and fun to ride.
How is it a waste of money? If she rides it,then she's getting there money's worth.

Less than £50 Inc secondhand bike and great fun. Really a waste of money if they ride more?
