DSM Talon RWD burnout.

I got a 98 eclipse gsx & i just got a 97 Talon tsi how can i make mine RWD like this? what do i do to the front wheel drive?

u need a spool in the diff to make it rwd...

@evilevo420 Not true, this is a 1GB which quite a few of the 92's came with the perfect 10 bolt setup... 6 under the front and 4 in the rear ;) If you know about DSM's, you know the 4 bolt is an LSD. You can just pull the axles and the transfer case will do the rest. It actually will transfer power to the wheels that are gripping, not slipping. Watch the slo mo awd launch on youtube and you can watch it happen as the fronts slip for a split sec and then the rears do and then back again.

@Speedcult77 1gb's came with 7 bolts my friend. and no u cant just pull the front axles. plus lsd or not the rear end has nothing to do with it. an evo is capable of transfering powewr to the hooking wheels, dsm's do have diff control

Remove the front axles and you have rwd.

It can be made perminant.  A company makes a coupler for that. I can't recall what they do about the holes for the front half-shafts.

This car had a 3 bolt in it, it lasted for 3 days like that. The car had a welded center diff and dummy axles up front.

Have had my car like that for 2 1/2 years now with a 20g and havent broken any axels yet, although it a 6/4 combo. ^ bolt block 4 bolt rear end.
