  • So well performed.

  • Thats Cheating!!! Ron Weasley learned how to do that in Hogwarts and comes into the muggle world confusing all of us with his real powers. Merlin's Beard!

  • I'm surprised that such an easy illusion that takes a lifetime to master and make appear so smooth gets so many out of this world explanations by those "not in the know"

  • @h4ckb0x7 pffft. you don't know what you're talking about. clearly those rings are electro-gyro-magneto-quantum flux capacitors.

  • HOLY SH*T!!!! SUSAN BOYLE AT 0:06

  • @tugtugbug926 It's the Queen

  • Of course you can see a hole in the ring, how else would he do it?

  • susan boyle

  • @alewisgb Same here :O

  • stop at 0:36 can you see a hole in 1 of the rings

  • @milescavey Not at 0:36 you can't. What you think is a hole in the ring is a reflection.

  • Oval ring , it aint hard

  • @dirtmeister1509 It's not an oval ring. Sorry!

  • why do people have to complain a magic trick is fake? OF COURSE IT"S FAKE!!! but it looks good. and above all, can YOU do it?

  • BAAAAAH!

    This is bullshit.

Penn and Teller's bullet switch just lost to this?

Linking rings takes slight of hand, yes.

    It's not that impressive, though.

  • fake i can totally see the strings

  • @muttonchomp There are no strings. Sorry!

  • this one isn't about the trick it's about his performance

  • @94spexx

    his performance was pretty standard

  • wait, what? Linking freaking rings is in the top 10?

  • If you pause at 0:37 you can clearly see the gap in the ring :P

  • @Squiddi666 your right=)

  • @Squiddi666 :O it's sooooo true !!

  • @Squiddi666 It is a reflection in the metal. Not a gap.

  • @h4ckb0x7 well maybe i'm wrong and it is magic, who knows only the magician.

  • @Qermaq whats wrong with dutch people?

  • did anyone catch that at the beginning when the guy says "at number 9" it sounds like the beginning to revolution 9 by the beatles?

  • this was no. 9? o.O

  • there is a magentic "split" where he can pop it on and off... very simple.

  • @poopy910555 the trick is making it so incredibly smooth

  • @poopy910555 Yes, but it's the classy execution of the trick that makes it great.

  • @poopy910555 Sorry poopy there isn't a magnetic split.

  • The ending is so cool! :-)

  • Its obvious how he did it. there are little pockets which allow for the rings to pass through each other. All it is is an illusion.

  • @lolliepop90

Probably why they call the guy an illusionist.

  • @lulhoofd1

    Neat sarcasm m8, ha ha.

  • 0:07 that women looks like Susan boyle!

  • @Queenazing That woman is the Queen

  • the rings have small holes in just big enough for the others to fit through. if it where real, then y didnt he ask a memberm of the audiance to check it

  • @JasonTheCrump Wrong

  • @h4ckb0x7 lmao, bit late with that comment?

  • omg i saw him unclip the ring and link them together

  • @neyo509 Your eyes deceived you

  • @h4ckb0x7 i have 20/20 VISION

  • At 0:22 you also hear a snap!!

  • @josh10774 Wrong

  • at 0:22 u can see clearly he opens the other ring to place the other one into it

  • @escoboy50 Wrong

  • 0:07 susan boyle

  • @slish2 I died laughing!!!

  • my friend does this as well if not better then him

  • @themagicfreak4 my friend does it 3 times better then your friend

  • @beebobox okay 1. how do you know have you seen him 2. if there is a video of your friend i would be glad to critique his performance

  • @themagicfreak4 i haven't seen him no, but i know a guy and he told me that my friend was 3 times better then your friend, and the guy i'm speaking of, is always right.

  • @beebobox i didnt even say my friends name how the hell do you know or your friend are you even in the same state country or continent even he doesnt have a video on it either so he would have to see him live which is really rare

  • @themagicfreak4 you're really simple aren't you sweetie :D

i was making fun of your original comment, and since you've shown yourself to be just like you are, i have severe doubts you'll get the point, so i'll just say, congrats on having a super awesome magic trick doing friend.

have a nice day and i hope you and your super magic trick doing friend have an awesome life.

  • @beebobox ah i see i am a very serious person and seldom gt a joke but now that you have explained i can understand i am simple and it works for me and being simple allows me to to have an awesome life and i hope that you carry forth in happiness and peace

    have a magical day,

    tim cripe

  • @themagicfreak4 thanks and same to you bud :)

  • the rings arent round

    but nice trick

  • lol you can see the gaps in the rings

  • very smooth.

  • Two things I hate. People who are intolerant of other people's culture, and the Dutch.

  • GOLDMEMBER LOL

  • fuking rofl lolololol

  • fukng rprik

  • @Qermaq i love that movie lol

  • @Qermaq dutch what, you hate them??

  • @Qermaq Thank you very much...

  • See how he always holds that one ring in the same position

  • just watch and shut up!

  • nice 1 ur right every1 shudjust stfu and watch ity

  • dont realy care how they do it as long as i get tricked for the moment and get at least a bit impressed :)

  • it's not about the trick itself, it's about how it's done!

it IS simple, yes. let me see you do it and amuse a whole theatre. let me see you. with that simple trick. let me make them go "holy..." with the rings trick...

  • Dutch XD

    Holland FTW!!

  • stop the clip at 33 sec and u will see 4 ring cause at 33 sec he put one in his jacket stop at 33 sec

  • Erm no he didn't put anything in his pocket, its just one of the rings is a double ring, if you get what I'm saying.

  • nice lol

  • Me and my girlfrined went to see Joe Labero here in Hässleholm. One trick he did was that he took three engagement rings from three diffrent persons in the audience. One of them was my girlfriends ring. He then sat down and started to rubb them against eachother and wups, they are all linked together. He even called up my girlfriend to hold them up and look at them. It was real. How the heck did he do that?

  • one of the rings was a prop, one of the couples were planted

  • ur girlfriends an imaginary person

  • one of the people he took the ring of was a stooge^^

  • how is this trick done, anyone?

  • one ring has a gap in it, and he covers it with his thumb

soooo easy to do, i knew it when i was in yr3 now im in yr9

  • @popjoe65 now you're year bitch

  • For some reason this music makes me want to do horrible things, lol

  • this shit is so old an obvious but he's a good presenter

  • if its so obvious does that mean you could do it :)

  • the rings have gaps in them. regardless most of the trick is sleight of hand

  • It doesn't matter how old, and obvious it is. What matters is, how the reaction to the trick was at the time. That is what made this trick be on the list. Is because of how it influenced the magic community.

  • even now we can appreciate the performance, the man has the hand pretty fast

  • ooo i spotted it! shit that was smooth!

  • smooth as butter

  • are too

  • Unfortunately there's no law against flawed logic either :(

I surely do hope that you're not really 24.

  • John Cleese is very funny.

  • Hugh Laurie is very funny.

  • i give up

  • Haha you accept that British people are funny. Game, set and match!

  • yep, Gregory House is funny...=D

  • He sure is. :)

  • I couldn't agree more

  • Greg House is American though, also a fictional character. So it defys the point.

  • lol I was just referring to Hugh Laurie as House, but nevermind...it doesn't matter if the character is american or not, because it's the actors who make the character not the other way around...so Hugh and House are funny

  • And THAT is how the rings were meant to be done. Simply elegant.

  • If you look he always uses one ring and the opening is at the top. His hand covers it and you see that the rings always go inside each other there.

  • no, non of the peices went into each other.....idiot

  • you can put a small magnet on one tip of any of those rings, then it will all be magnet... i have one and i have tried IT

  • not if the rings are made of aluminium

  • it is magnet... duh

  • no its not

  • explain how a magnet can be used in this situation

  • you are an idiot one ring has a piece cut out.

  • The ring on his left hand at the beginning has a gap in it.

  • the trick is easy and almost everybody knows how to do it, but the performance of this magician makes to think as if were unreal.

  • this isnt hard but he does it almost perfect and so smooth

  • brilliantly as smoothly done

  • dutch magic and not even a minute vid that sux -.- (you prob guesst im dutch so dont look at my spelling)

  • Yeah I'd be annoyed if I was dutch too lol.

  • ... string? And he uses the string to tie a quick not to hold them together I suppose? ¬_¬

One of the rings has a gap in it which he holds in his hands all the way through.

  • yes?

  • how about no

  • How about yes..

  • yeah..strings thats the secret..yes!!!

You fucking idiot...I take it he used smoke and mirrors and magical faires as well then..hmm?

  • use ur head sometimes....!!

  • Yeah, I see the string. At 0:34 he moves his hand fast and I think he's moving the string.

  • My reaction to people who only see magic as a puzzle.Nothing to do with the size or gender of genitalia.Have a nice day Stevie.

  • Beautiful...and so graceful aswell!

  • Dam such an ez trick to figure out. One of the circles isnt a complete circle and there is a gap that he is covering up with his fingers. He slightly opens his fingers to slide the rings through

  • And yet, when performed well, it's still a fun trick to watch.

  • Oh shut up and watch the pretty trick asshole.

  • That doesn't explain how when he was waving them back and forth how they linked up. Of course I know it's a trick, and this is likely how he linked and unlinked them a few times, but it doesn't explain the whole trick. What's remarkable here is how gracefully he does it as well. Imagine the level of skill required of your hands to perform the trick as he did. I'd like to see you try..

  • Linking rings are like thumb tips, many people don't like them because they are so simple and when known seem obvious. But when they are well done it is still great to watch.

  • classic.. great

  • same here great with young ones

  • one of my favorite trick
