I have a Realistic CD player (yay, Radio Shack quality!) from 1987 and it is very fussy about playing CD-R discs. Some with play with a lot of glitching, some will read the track info but not play, and some won't read at all. I'll try opening it up and see if it has those gain pots.
I disagree completely with tgies. This is neat, as are the other things I've seen from the poster. And he lives less than 100 miles from me, thats always cool.
I love how you blow up some caps at the end of the video.
