I went here on holiday with the family when i was a kid in 1999 my sister said she saw a woman standing in one of the windows in old looking clothes the window is on the 0.10 mark on the vid on the right one of those two.
i went there last weekend, took loads of pics hoping to pick something up but got nothing, some twat had thrown oil all down the tower steps and it was blocked off, but i sneaked down there anyway

i visited berry pomeroy castle in 2008 with my parents. it may be haunted and i had quite a few creepy experiences there but i completely fell in love with the property. i've decided this is where i want to get married.
i spent the night there with my grandad it is such a fricken scary experience, i almost felt like running away but i didnt like the woods outside of the castle.
I love this Castle, I try & visit it a couple times a year if I can, usually by day, but me & a few mates went down one night last year, climbed the wall, & stayed till about 5ish.. We did a seance kind of thing in St. Margarets tower, but nothing happened..
at 0:25 you can see the wall from the main gate going left, follow that and where it meets the next tower you can climb up it there to get in after hours, very surrieal feeling at night!
Is a little more to this story before anything happened she stood in a fireplace and said she felt a shortness of breath and felt weird,only to have watched another clip which mentions one of the pomeroy children being strangled... dragon and yes she was fine after what ever it was left her

Well after going there with my daughter who is 17 i can honestly say i have got 5 or 6 of photos which show without a doubt my daughter getting actually taken over by something she became expression-less and her arms dropped to her sides and a vacantness about here and clearly becoming something else, i didnt notice till i came home and looked at the photos and on the 7th or so photo she was smiling again and there is about 10 orbs all around her and in one of the pics can see a ghostly figure

It's not about McDonalds, you can find at any corner of the world, it's part of the history of our country. If you're not interested then fine, but if we knock everything down for a bowling alley or a fast food place, what are you gonna say when your kids ask about history? or what was there before? Myself and 2 others have witnessed the white lady outside the tower and watched the apparition for several minutes. We all saw it. It was definately there. This place can almost suddenly make you feel like you need to leave quickly, but the tangable evidence is the apparition and if 3 of us saw it then of course it did happen. Sceptics have their right to opinion but conveniently come up with bizarre explanations for what rational people like myself have definately seen.
Most sightings have happened on sunny afternoons. And, as for those who think there is something 'wrong' with the place, I can only say that there isn't. There's a wonderful feeling about the place. All the local ley lines cross at Berry castle too....

Such a sad place to visit, I went there in the summer of last year and my six year old son thought he saw a little girl waving at him, from the main building. When my wife and I looked.....nothing.
It's a shame that the people from the local village destroyed most of this building.

You can't get into the castle at night. It's a touring site now so you have to pay to get in etc. At night the castle grounds are locked up. At Halloween they do an evening tour, that's about it i'm afraid.

Theres a small road beyond the main gates, you have to go along that for about 1/4 of a mile before you reach the castle. I think they close it at night. There is another rd that runs along the bottom of the hill where the castle stands, but its a long walk up from the bottom.
