This is not the best representative of Arlo Guthrie's work. Please click around and hear more of his stuff. Now he's 50 or 60-something and his grown kids play with him. What a rich heritage this family has carried on. Arlo is appearing on Prairie Home Companion April 25th. He is still the bst.

I never realized until I heard Arlo sing St. John's Infirmary how he really captures the blues. While I will always love Leadbelly singing and playing this on my old 33's, Arlo does the song justice.
