  • There will always be the die hards that would buy cardboard for toilet paper if it had a Chevy bowtie on it. I drive a 1991 Toyota truck. Thanks for the video you "Anti-American Jap Lover"......:)

  • American gentlemen are philanthropic,

assisting the weak and striking down the strong.

American gentlemen detest all unfairness and fight for justice

while showing great respect for the law.

  • you think you know whats going onbut you have no idiea,in my shop we worked on a liberty with 4000km on it,it had noises all kinds,,steering was loose, and the suspention was all over the place, called cyc\sler and they said nothings wrong with it,we had a good laught at the owners expence,,like i will buy a dodge now, scions, cheap and reliable, scion xb 18000$,dodge caravane 25000$ why would you get a caravan that looses value when you can get a xb that holds value,oh i guess cause its unamerican

  • wow im a tech for 20 years and im sorry japan cars are still better,,dont belive me ask taxi drivers why they choose toyotas,,why is the american cars still braking down,,why havent we heard about toyotas sudden accel anymore,,did they just stop ?use your heads, the american gov just wants there bail out backk, why is dodge not recalling there trucks that wobbel, they clame its normal and not a safty issue, the dame truck wobbbels when slowing down, and thats not dangerous,,

  • dude you need to stop listening to rush and beck if you wanna be a corperate whore tell it to someone else.. not all americans are stupid

  • YOU ARE A GREAT MAN! PROUD OF AMERICA!

  • Japan deserves injustice.....

it serves them right for 3 decades of down right copying European cars. Im sick of it.

its really out of hand now. Its about time toyota got what they deserved.

  • @Howie262 dont forget toyota is notorious for not issueing recalls, infact ive read elsewhere that Toyota would have more recalls then GM if they actually issued them. Toyota for decades has done everything it could to cover up problems and issues with its vehicles for fear of tarnishing its image. These are facts and both these companys continue to get busted. they actually spend tons of money to try and cover there tracks so they dont have to issue recalls.

  • hehë_ÅÑy_gUYs_wAÑt_tò_chát_wìth_mË

  • In japan People without insurance through employers can participate in a national health insurance program administered by local governments. Patients are free to select physicians or facilities of their choice and cannot be denied coverage. Hospitals, by law, must be run as non-profit and be managed by physicians. For-profit corporations are not allowed to own or operate hospitals. Clinics must be owned and operated by physicians. Since you love japan so, there car companys are gov owned

  • Toyota constructed an auto plant on part of the 1,500 acres of free land given to them in Georgetown, Kentucky. The auto plant was built by a Japanese steel company using Japanese steel. The U.S. government granted a “special trade zone” so that Toyota could import auto parts from Japan duty-free. Financing was handled by Mitsui Bank of Japan. Total federal and state grants and incentives exceeded $100 million. These subsidies, of course, were courtesy of your tax dollars.

  • All of Japans car companys are mostly owned and controlled by japans goverment. Go figure

  • This guy is the most shameless spammer that I have ever seen. And what a conspiracy theorist, he should call himself the "propaganda master".

  • @MeKlink666

    LOL

    When did it happen ?LOL

Toyota is not a Bank LOL

  • TOYOTA IS SUBSIDIZED BY THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT, MORON!

  • this moron is obviously on the toyota payroll, or he is just brainwashed by all of the toyota propaganda that they flood the internet and television with.

  • TOYOTA IS SUBSIDIZED BY THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT, MORON!

  • @furiousgeorge1271

    hahaha

the japanese government blamed TOYOTA LOL you idiot moron

  • @tenacioustaut You write like a 2 year old, and you call me "idiot moron"? Maybe you should get some help from a grown up, if you want to try to take part in a conversation with adults. Or maybe you are just retarded, in which case you should just keep quiet so as to hide that fact from the rest of the world.

  • @furiousgeorge1271

lol Only morons say that Toyota is owned by Japan without knowing what the Japanese government did when Toyota was blamed LOL

    Keep on being ignorant

  • @tenacioustaut Your writing looks a little better this time. You must have taken my advice, and gotten some help from an adult. You have just taken your first step from being a mere idiot towards advancing to the rank of imbecile (congratulations). Maybe now you can take the next step, and actually research the fact that THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIZES THE TOYOTA CORPORATION, IMBECILE!

  • @furiousgeorge1271

    LOL

    No matter what you say,

it is so stupid to say that Japan OWNS tToyota LOL

  • @tenacioustaut Look it up. The Japanese government does bail out Toyota whenever they have problems, and do in fact subsidize the Toyota Motors Corporation. I can see by your conversation with that other guy, that you don't believe this fact.

  • @MeKlink666

You ve been spreading a lie LOL

GM is owned by US ;however, Toyota is NOT hahahah

FOrd owned by US? you idiot lol

  • @tenacioustaut wow your dumb...gm is american then why are they mostly made out of usa?watch roger and me and tell me how pro usa they are,

  • @camry01

    ? LOL

  • @camry01 your not so smart either roger and me was about chrysler. not gm..

  • @scorand i think you need to watch it over,,,its all about gm and ac delco so your dumb for opening your mouth and not knowing what your talking about

  • @camry01 you did say roger and me right?? maybe i got the name wrong. but when that came out. chrysler just bought out amc here in kenosha, and chrysler had turned several towns in michigan into practicly ghost towns.. we had a big deal and was gonna sue them because lee iococa ( i know i misspelled it) was gonna break the contract here they had with the city. and i remember them advertising it around the same time.. and either way your still a dumbass for following rush and beck. so bite me

  • there we go again with dirty recalls(yeah right) against Toyota in the USA.

US is nothing but bunch of crooks to hurt none Americans, and US is so fucking desperate to support GM wich is a crappy car company.

Now, why do US still try to support GM so bad??

whats in GM anyway? money?? what??

Stop bullshit Toyota no more, or I'm gonna personally go to GM to shut your fucking mouth forever before you even know it!

hahahahaha, GM sucks anyway, just pieces of shit car manufacture!!

  • Dear propaganda master, you are as smart as you look, and sound. If my dog could talk,he would make more sense than you(and he's not real bright). You keep using the term "government motors", which makes it obvious that you know nothing. What is Toyota?Japanese government motors?Toyota corporation is subsidized by the Japanese govt. You are a disgrace, and an embarrassment even among the typical youtube morons. Most fools make an effort to hide their stupidity, yet you flaunt yours on a global scale.

  • did you mention the fact that the toyota corporation has been hiding defects and fighting the NTSB for years when they try to make toyota issue a recall? did you mention that the toyota corporation is subsidized by the japanese government? is it a coincidence that the first year 2010 that the US has started holding toyota to the same standard as other auto manufacturers and now in one year they have to recall over 12 million vehicles (not just the accelleration problems)?

  • Highest respect for you my friend for saying it like it is. I am an automotive mechanic and an ex Chevy guy. I own 2 Camrys (200,000 & 300,000 KMs) and a 1986 Toyota4x4.... amazingly reliable, low maintenance vehicles. Anybody who owns one will never go back to that North American junk.

  • @toyota4x4canadaguy Your 200,000, and 300,000 KILOMETER Camrys only equate 124,200 MILES, and 186,300 MILES. Not even remotely impressive. My 1981 Ford has around 600,000 MILES or around 966,183.57 KILOMETERS! Some American vehicles have been known to get over 1 MILLION MILES. I will let you figure out how many KILOMETERS that is. I know people who bought into that "Toyota quality" MYTH, and have come back to Chevy and Ford. BTW- AS OF FEB. 2011, OVER 2 MILLION MORE TOYOTAS RECALLED THIS YEAR!

  • @furiousgeorge1271 good! so keep on driving your 1981 ford with 600,000miles on it! hahahahaha

Toyota recall is nothing but typical dirty American brain dead jealousy against the Japanese motor manufacture!

Do you realize how much of job opportunities did Toyota give to people in the US? Do you realize how many fucking Yanks were saved their lives by Toyota? Toyota sold qualities, and they still manufacture the best motors in the world! so shut your mouth and quit being such smart ass!

  • @joyouslife4all You are obviously just another ignorant child talking a lot of shit. With comments like "I'm going to shut your fucking mouth" you are only proving what a silly little boy you are. Your threats make me laugh, silly boy. With your attitude, the real world would chew you up and spit you out, so you better just stay in your little make believe cyber world where you can feel safe talking tough to strangers.

  • THANK YOU! That link is perfect for anyone who got brainwashed by the media.

  • GM(Government Motors) Indeed made a better showing

    after bashing Toyota.

  • @tenacioustaut

whats chryslers name tin foil hat dude?

  • It was well known in Japan that Toyota was innocent. This information seems to be small handling in U.S.A. Probably the U.S. Government should have wanted the program of the engine control system of Toyota. This will be misappropriated by GM.

  • @Unrougemirage

You just grab the toyota computer from the car and use a chip reader and read the code. no big deal.

And if the US was so after Toyota, they would never allow them to build plants in the US

nutjobs never have any common sense

  • see toyota still comes out as the best made cars. the top 5 were toyotas and hondas, the worst u bet german and american. jaguar, benz, bmw, audi. haha !!

  • @PLISKEN12

I'm sure you got your facts from consumer reports.

comparing 100,000 dollar car to a POS 20,000 car

  • @taledarkside WHATS WRONG W/ THAT?snt that all the more reason to question those european cars. a 20k car is more reliable and well engineered than 100k european car? what is ur point?

  • @PLISKEN12

Your another idiot that reads consumer reports and thinks he knows cars.

So toyota spends 5,000 in engineering, while europe spnds 50,000 in engineering on their cars, and you claim toyota has more engineering. ROFL

  • @PLISKEN12

Why is Lexus a better car than Toyota? Lexus costs more because it is engineered more than their lower valued car.

  • @taledarkside I THINK UR GETTING UR REASONONG FROM THE DARKSIDE. u havent said anything that made sense at all. so ur a waste of time to me.

  • @PLISKEN12

thats typical of stupid people like yourself that can't have an educated discussion

go back to reading consumer reports as if they test cars.

  • @taledarkside trust me ur an idiot !

  • @PLISKEN12

Looks like everyone was right except you. Nasa finds 2 mechanical flaws with toyota's pedal assembly.

yup, toyota builts POS cars. keep wearing a tinfoil hat

  • @taledarkside looks lie u just got the news few days late. where do u live timbuktu? that news just came out recently. u mean u have esp about that before the news came out? why thats not fair. u have esp man ! for the most part its just a damn floor mat and driver error.

  • @PLISKEN12

I got the news on time, I was busy making carquestions look like a moron

floor mat and the pedal assembly sticking, hence why toyota had to shim the inside. Plus the gas pedal being too long and hitting the floor mat

  • @taledarkside yeah but nothing like the electronic error that they are saying w/c makes the car take off on its own. dimwit ! ler me ask u what brand name car hasnt had flaws and caused accidents einstein?

  • @PLISKEN12

every car has flaws. But a car that gets a stuck gas pedal is different from a car that just dies on the road.

  • @taledarkside ur lame.

  • @taledarkside go ahead and patronize american or european cars im not gonna discourage u. but dont say american and european cars are better than toyota thats just wishful thinking.

  • @PLISKEN12

    Honda is better than Toyota.

toyota is a POS car. stupid people read the mass media and think because they have high sales.

  • @taledarkside ok...ok

  • all jpn's known intentional attack from US bashing? 80's again? us-goverment cannot forgive that toyota become no.1 of world or jpn's company? or japanese also? All started in 1987 is the exchange-induced(plaza accord?) Japan's already is suffering in the aftermath of 20 year! it become a 20year! long too much! & jpn's Continue to lose valuable people of 30,000 by 1year it's war how many lost of people of us-army from vietnam-war? In the last 20 years the world went to wrong way
  • Well the problem was that Toyota previously wasn't recalling cars, even if they knew tan automobile had serious problems. I believe that was part of the investigation. The allegations were probably true, seeing as how Toyota recalled 7.1 milking vehicles this year, and they weren't all for pedal issues either. Toyota still makes great cars, but why should we apologize for their mistakes?

  • Toyota has done nothing wrong. Problem is human error. People not securely placing mats.

  • Hi! I am Maca Albarn.

    bud,

    I am ExCalibur12th now.

  • Japan broadcast a lot of bse problems on the television in the past.

「Dangerous American beef. A deliberate inspection is not done. 」

The Japanese was cheated by information.

    The Japanese should also apologize.

    I'm sorry.

  • @sionkoto

I would be more worried about the beaf from England. Everyone dying from Madcow disease.

Slow death while your brain is being eaten.

  • he right you know its sad that americans are targeting toyota for something all makes have had oh yah and everyone forgets about the ford car with the GAS TANK IN THE FRONT it is to the same degree of the toyota problem yet they didnt get attacked the way toyota did and may i remind u gas burns and explodes which means it can kill more then just the people driveing the car

  • @apoxalypse

How about the Toyotas with gas tanks in the rear. OH NO tin foil hat wearing.

So does Toyota make a bullet proof gas tank when a semi truck slams into it?

  • @taledarkside you really put thought in to that comment didnt you... when have you heard of a rear end gas tank car explodeing from a rear end collision and by a semi? really i mean think about what your saying a semi..... A SEMI

  • @apoxalypse

atleast once a week. but sure let me put my tinfoil on and think a 100,000lb truck will not crush a toyota gas tank. LOL

  • @taledarkside ok who said anything about a toyota gas tank being able to stand a rear end crash from a semi

  • @apoxalypse

you did, while you are trying to put down ford. Oh let me put down japan motorcycles because they put gas tanks between your legs.

OH NO tin foil hat wearing.

  • @taledarkside no i did not i never said anything about A GAS tank from a toyota cant be crushed from a semi dude your dumb stop posting what are u 10? go back to school

  • Thank you so much for been so fair! What you say is so true! I love you!!

  • GM AKAK Government Made....

  • I own a 2010 Toyota Corolla and a 2008 Scion xB (also owned by Toyota) and they have had no issues. My father owned Chevy trucks since the early 80's. Every single one had the same transmission and fuel pump problems. From 80's though 2000 same problem but it was never addressed by GM. Why they pay UAW too much so they have to cut cost some where.

  • @xTAxGUNZ hey idiot...the fucking thing is barely a year old. give it some time. Corolla's been recalled already for fuel pump and master cylinder failure. Good luck with your air bags working properly! Toyota is crap. Apparently you don't shop around much, just swill the Kool aid!

  • When I lived in Detroit, a rumor was going about between Japanese that US government retaliates against TOYOTA, because TOYOTA overtook GM's sales and GM went bankrupt. I heard about the rumor three or four months before the recall.

BTW, I feel that witness (woman) is fishy....

  • I'd like to point out that the issue with the Toyota Prius doesn't mean toyota is unreliable. The pedal in the Toyota Prius is american made. I know how news agencies spent many hours covering the accidents caused by the faulty pedal. One thing they didn't spend much time on is the newscast I witnessed where american cars are also being recalled for having the same american made pedal and the same problem.

  • Just let you know that I like your attitute and fair judgment. We need more people like you in our government.

  • I'm glad as a Japanese.

    Thank you Texas Dad !!

  • What a nice, great, fair man you are!!!

If high goverment officicals of this world are like you, this planet will be better, I think and believe! :)

    From Kyoto, Japan

  • @thomas3fd6 - Thank you.

  • American motor companies are jumping on the electric steering bandwagon as well. Chevy cobalt The cobalt handl;es extremely poorly like the corola and the focus will as well. Electric steering produces some of the worst handling cars. Amazingly bad road handling.

  • FORD rules they diddent take the bailout y do u have to make fun of sea shepard

  • toyota and lexus=669 recalls. 2 brands make half the recalls of 8 brands. think dumbass

  • oh... and most of these crashes were either staged or caused by human error. The government just over exaggerated it. It sort of reminds me of how the British ruled the tea companies back in the mid to 1700's. They used their political power to close down all of the other tea companies until there was just one government owned one left... and look what happened.

  • what your saying is 100% correct... but you have to speak clearer

  • NHTSA showed a result of electric fuel injector, Aug. 10th. The result is Toyota's is no probrem. Now, everybody can understand what happend at that time. Yes, they did wrong drive.

  • No car manufacturer is free of defects. The question is which car is relatively safe....

  • True GM has issued a lot of recalls, GM and most other American automobile manufactures issue a recall after about 200 complaints. The issues with Toyota accelerators dates back to 2005, Toyota was clearly neglecting to issue a massive recall for PR reasons, and instead putting their customers safety in jeopardy, because of this Toyota is facing scrutiny. Toyota has faced many law suits in the past for neglecting to issue recalls, example Toyota engine defects that date back to 1995.

  • I'm using i-pod regularly after walkman since last year and welcome the success of i-pod Apple as a Japanese. because they became good rivals of Sony.

Hereafter, I wish that Sony make efforts to the development of walkman.

so TRUE capitalism has to compete fairly with the quality just like them.

the way to trap and obstruct the other rivals is the commies way not ours. (that is why, China is still commie.)

I don't want Apple and Sony to be like GM or gangs.

  • Retired US gov't official now start to reveal that he have been forced stay slience on Prius break incidents....it was all driver's failures....and US gov't knew that...but did not announce truth...because you know what.

  • WHY ARE THEY RECALLED IN JAPN

  • toyotas suck

  • this guy is full of shit..i am under contract for towing service for the loacl toyota dealership down the road from me ...and every time i walk into the bays...the place is full of toyotas with trouble..they are not all there for washer fluid and new tires ..there is always a bay that has a toyota with either the motor or tranny taken out of it ..and toyota is under investigation for hiding paper work show they knew about self accelerating vehicles

  • NHTSA said it was caused by driver's mistake.

Shame on you for blaming toyota without objective evidence.

You did make toyota chief apologize..even though it's not his fault.

The world was looking at this scene and now the world is laughing at this scene.

  • @drgentlewolf LIES LIES LIES!! THE NHTSA SAID NOTHING OF THE SORT!! YOU LIE LIKE TOYOTA! NO OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE!?? GIVE YOUR HEAD THAT'S BURIED UP YOUR ASS A SHAKE!! ONLY A FUCKING FOOL WOULD BUY A NEW TOYOTA 'THE WORLD' WAS ISSUED THEIR OWN RECALLS TOOL! RANDOM STALLING, AIR BAG FAILURE, FUEL PUMP FAILURE AND BRAKE M.C. FAILURES NEVERMIND U.A. DID THE GUY WITH THE AVALON BOUNCING OFF THE REV LIMITER WHO PARKED IT AT THE TOYOTA DEALER 'HIT THE WRONG PEDAL'?.....

  • @guinmaan ....AND ONLY THE ARROGANT TOYOTA KOOL AID DRINKING ASSHOLES WOULD BELIEVE THIS SHIT WITHOUT RESEARCHING THE FACTS! STATE FARM IS THE LARGEST AUTO INSURER WARNED NHTSA IN 04 AND AGAIN IN 07, RAISING TOYOTA OWNERS PREMIUMS(CITING CRASH STATS) AND ASKING NHTSA TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT RUNAWAY TOYOTA PRODUCTS...WHILE YOUR MALFEASANT TOYOTA HAD HIRED EX - NHTSA EMPLOYEES TO MANIPULATE RECALL OUTCOMES TO WHICH THEY WERE CAUGHT BRAGGING ABOUT SAVING OVER 100M BY 'FAVOURABLE RECALL OUTCOMES'!

  • @guinmaan ASIDE FROM TOYOTA'S OBVIOUS QUALITY AND SAFETY PROBLEMS, ASK YOURSELVES THIS....THOUGH KOOL AID DRINKERS HAVEN'T A CLUE OF THE CAR INDUSTRY OR WHAT THEY'RE REALLY DRIVING, I'LL FILL YOU IN. TOYOTA'S ENTIRE LINE UP OF VEHICLES ARE ESSENTIALLY ACIENT DATED PLATFORMS/SUSPENSION THEY'VE BEEN PEDALLING WITH NEW SHEET METAL ETC. YET THEY HAVE MORE DEFECTS THAN EVER!...WHY IS THIS? BECAUSE TOYOTA'S GOAL IS TO MAKE IT CHEAPER VIA EXCESSIVE CHINESE PART OUTSOURCING TO MAXIMIZE PROFITS....

  • @guinmaan ....CRITICAL COMPONENTS LIKE SENSORS (AIR BAG PROBLEMS ANYONE?!! GOOGLE IT!) CPU'S - WERE PURCHASED FROM NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR (LIKE DOMESTICS DO) ....YUP CHINESE CPU'S ANYONE? BUY TOYOTA QUALITY! ETC. ETC. TOYOTA IS ALL ABOUT MINIMAL ENGINEERING AND MAXIMIZING PROFITS. IF TOYOTA SPENT THE EXTRA $ THEY DO WITH BUYING OFF POLITICIANS, AUTO MEDIA, PROPPING UP FALSE QUALITY ASSURING AUTO QUALITY ASSOCIATIONS FOR COMMERCIALS, LOBBYISTS AND LAWYERS YOU'D HAVE A HALF DECENT CAR

  • @guinmaan friend picked me up saturday night with his new camry...he hate's toyota so it's just a rental for an accident repair. The rental tool said to Dan, 'after having this for a week you want a toyota' - what a tool!. I own an 08 taurus (volvo s 80 based). Let me tell you I road in the back seat of that camry and was appalled compared to the back seat ride in my car. The seats are so cheaply padded my butt was starting to go numb after 10 min. the suspension was soft ....

  • @guinmaan yet it couldn't disguise the lack of body structure compared to my car. The camry was noisier, and the cheapo use of materials in the interior was terribly obvious- now my 08 taurus' interior is not of lexus materials, but light years better than this camry! The seat foam in the camry was laughable...my seats are so comfortable in the back you could drive accross country and the build quality and ride is light years better than camry. Camry buyers are senseless MORONS!

  • @guinmaan and you toyota kool ait drinkers are all such tools- when your toyota is in the repair shop you claim it is high quality and one must maintain a car for it to last longer - yet I never replaced fuel pumps, water pumps on a 7 yr. old car that I owned! When some idiot who thinks his domestic is no good and it needs repairs it's an 'unreliable domestic'. It's all perception - Toyota's are expensive to buy, maintain and fix. Their superior reliablility is a total myth.

  • @guinmaan i have an 07 corolla. 108,000 miles. all i put into it was tires, fluids, and brakes. even my clutch is original. now i am a GM and ASE certified tech at a local GM dealer. GM has huge problems with fuel pumps, fuel level sensors, water pumps and coolant crossover gaskets on ur 3.5 and 3.9 L engines( impala, buick lacrosse/lucerne) not to mention a new recall almost every week on EVERY model they make. and these cars are 07 thru 09's!

  • @drgentlewolf

NHTSA never said that. Maybe you should relearn how to read.

  • still doesnt change the fact that toyota built crap for years...other companies have always capitalized on other comapnies failures....just business practices...

  • Goverment motors if u want something truly american buy a ford.

  • Hi there,

As usual, what a brilliant video. Very encouraging to know that there are at least reasonable persons in Texas, i.e. Ron Paul and you. You guys are awesome.

    Thanks millions.

    Cheers.

  • fucking hypocrit baster Obama monkey is!

How fucking dare this fucking monkey Obama trys to bash Toyota for!!

It is such shame of the American side that they are so fucking jealous about the Japanese car company being #1 in the world!!

    Jealous jealous jealous!!!

I have my Toyota Lexus and has NOOOO problems at all for 5 years!!!

When I had Ford, it was SHIT!!!

  • ありがとう。

  • why are the japan goverment recalling and toyota got 3 people on there payroll; toyota builtds rice burning sgit

  • and here i thought the hearings were because Toyota knew about the problems months before the official recall, and in those months many more people died. Had Toyota acted promptly, I don't believe it would have gone to congressional hearings.

  • Congratulations to Chicago's Toyota Park for successfully hosting the

2010 Chicago Sister Cities Cup bringing together teams from

the host city and Paris, Warsaw, and Belgrade.

    watch?v=YyCuiAX3OGw

The number of sporting events and sports teams dependent on Toyota

sponsorship in the US (and worldwide) is staggering....

  • over 9000 recalls

  • toyota is still recalling cars lets face it they been putting out junk for years.plus been hiding it/they been lieing they recalled over 8 mill recall

  • @AJstar9 what is 8 mil recalls compare to more that 20 mil recalls by ford?

  • theres wasnt in one year/they wasnt killing people and hiding it lol

  • LOS ANGELES —

The heads of Tesla Motors Inc and Toyota Motors Corp surprised the auto world Thursday by announcing a partnership to develop and build electric cars at a recently shuttered auto plant (NUMMI) in the San Francisco Bay area.

The joint venture hopes to employ more than 10,000 people including former NUMMI employees. NUMMI closed after GM filed for bankruptcy protection last year, betraying a joint-venture with Toyota.

  • @guinmaan

If you're so tuned into what's going on then you would have spared a post to inform readers that other manufacturers have recently admitted problems with the CTS accelerator pedals.

And this brings us back to the issue of Toyota quality being affected by protectionist parts outsourcing deals with US manufacturers, as well as illiterate workers in states with public schools in shambles. I've never denied that possibility, though the US government (not surprisingly) appears to.

  • @seseljsrs Do you actually believe the pathetic shit excuses you make up? I'm well aware of CTS pedals and MILLIONS of Toyota models fall under the umbrella of U.A. problems THAT AREN'T CTS MADE PEDALS! Problems with CTS pedals in OTHER brands ARE ACTUALLY DO TO FLOOR PAN DIMENSIONS INTERACTING WITH THE PEDALS which is only ONE potential problem in Toyotas (although it's the main EXCUSE that Toyota clung to) while the evidence clearly shows an electronic glitch is the real problem.

  • @guinmaan

Your postings reflect a desperate, shallow anti-Toyota grind. Accusations against Toyota, such as those offered up by certain infamous public witnesses (long since discredited) are not the same as factual evidence. You confuse the two, and your latest comment about the disclosures against CTS is actually more of an admission than a convincing attempt at evasion and accusation - more confusion. You missed out on your chance to testify at the hearings, no wonder you're frustrated.

  • @seseljsrs anti toyota..yes because of how they do business and the junk they pedal.'shallow' definitely not. I have nothing but verifiable facts while you spew semantics like CTS...now it's the KNOWN SCAM ARTIST WHO FAKED U.A. WITH HIS PRIUS...AS IF HIS ACTIONS SOMEHOW NULLIFY REALITY AND FACTS, AS IF HIS DECEIT NEGATES THE THOUSANDS OF REAL U.A. INCIDENTS/ACCIDENTS EXPERIENCED BY TOYOTA/LEXUS OWNERS. complaintsboarddotcom/byurl/autocoverupdotcomdothtml your a fucking joke!

  • @guinmaan ....check out the series of TAPED conversations with a Lexus tech who had one of his own do it 10 times and who admits they've seen MANY is 250s with U.A. problem...see the lying and the back peddling in various conversations ending in out right denial - first admitting a glitch then insisting it's the pedal/mats. UNBELIEVABLE - THIS LEXUS OWNER DOENS'T BELIEVE YOUR CONSPIRACY THEORIES HE'S STUCK WITH A POS HE CAN'T SELL AND WON'T DRIVE! LIKE I SAID YOUR VIEW IS BASED ON ZERO FACTS

  • @seseljsrs see I could run the same semantic bs IF I didn't have the FACTS...

Your postings reflect a desperate, shallow anti USA grind. Accusations against the Federal gov't, for the reason that they loaned money and acquired shares of GM have no line of reasoning based on verifiable facts of influencing the NHTSA unduly to damage Toyotas reputation of safety.

blah blah blah you get the idea. The CTS pedal itself is just a pedal the shape of well or mat makes the problem IDIOT!

  • @seseljsrs How the fuck do yo get that out of my CTS post! First off assplug, the 'other' manufacturers with 'sticking' CTS pedals are not in any numbers remotely close to toyota's problems all added up togethor. What 50k ford vans in china etc. less than 150k total. Secondly, THERE ARE NO FATAL ACCIDENTS DOCUMENTED DUE TO STICKING CTS PEDALS IN ANY OF THEM! THE PEDAL ISN'T THE PROBLEM WITH TOYOTA'S, THE DBW SYSTEM IS! MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS OF NON CTS TOYOTA'S ARE UNDER THE U.A. RECALL

  • the real conspiracy is the dirtbag malfeasant toyota hiring EX NHTSA employees to use their inside knowledge and undue influence to persuade the NHTSA(their former colleagues) into not taking full on safety recall protocol in 07 when WARNED BY PRIVATE INSURER STATE FARM ABOUT A U.A. PROBLEMS IN TOYOTA PRODUCTS!...AND MORE DIED! YET THE MORONS HERE ARE WORRIED ABOUT A LOAN TO GM AND GOV'T HOLDING SOME STOCK! TOYOTA IS A SYNONYM FOR CONSPIRACY. YOU PEOPLE ARE BEYOND STUPID!

  • @guinmaan

Your empty complaints are quite laughable, a bad joke really. Anyone with eyes and a TV set nearby has seen what this is all about. Not so many saw the hearings sessions, but it was really like something out of The Manchurian Candidate or similar Cold War era films. In some ways it was more entertaining on a B-Movie, "so bad it's fun to watch" level.

Recently, though, the hearings have faced a challenge by the US news networks and declarations of Bad 3 "Improved Quality".

  • @seseljsrs empty complaints? ...like claiming an OBama leftist gov't conspiracy along with the media? Fact is you morons knowledge of Toyota, how they do and ALWAYS have done business is completely absent from the construction of your world view. Is Matsuda, the founder of the Japanese auto consumer union lying too then? Toyota has REPEATEDLY & KNOWINGLY ALLOWED IT'S CUSTOMERS TO DRIVE DEFECTIVE VEHICLES - THIS IS NOTHING NEW TOOL! Toyota has been outsourcing more content from china yearly

  • @seseljsrs ...so your eyes and a TV set is all ya need eh...nuff said... your a utter fucking clueless nut! Toyota is a secretive malfeasant company with more lobbyists and lawyers than ANY other car company. They've hired EX NHTSA employees to manipulate the NHTSA into below set standards of recall protocol - Then Toyota bragged about saving millions in inter memos while more died! Matsuda claims toyota is the most secretive company and the evidence is abound..EDR boxes, .....

  • @guinmaan ....with holding engineering evidence in court, secret recalls (crawling under customers cars to fix defects unbeknownst to them) no recalls, limited recalls with no media announcements (standard procedure until late 90's) just letters ONLY to original buyers! Then claiming a great record of reliability and quality based on lies and deceit etc.! I've detested Toyota for 30 yrs as an auto enthusiast because they're cheap crap. Why were new trucks/suvs not sent to IIHS for roof tests?

  • @guinmaan

I appreciate your admission that you've had an axe to grind against Toyota for 30 years.

These accusations you've listed are all common to the industry. Toyota is not operating in a void. You're living in a crack-pipe dream if you believe a foreign company can try to take the consumer to nirvana, leaving the competition in the dust (making record profits for itself of course) without stirring up major political interference. What's happening is appalling, but not surprising.

  • @seseljsrs You spew crap and semantics and refuse to address or de bunk the facts I have provided. Hey assfuck...I'm anything but a lefty but if your so on the level and a critical thinking conservative than answer my fucking question and address specific issues brought to the table as facts - THAT'S HOW YOU WIN A DEBATE! Kindly explain how STATE FARM insurance is a part of this conspiracy? FACT: S.F. warned the NHTSA about toyota twice in 04 and 07. S.F. raised premiums in 07 for toy. own

  • @seseljsrs Common to the industry? Really? like I said you know NOTHING about Cars, the Car industry like 99% of ALL Toyota owners. Whose the biased one here? You own and love a toyota - I've driven 100's of lexus/toyotas, worked on cars and an auto enthusiast and I think toyotas are crap and wouldn't own one - we each have opposite views but I'm somehow I'm to be discredited based on my point of view as opposed to facts?! ...Is that the best you've got?! What about Matsuda in Japan?

  • @ guinmaan

Your questions about roof testing and your accusations against Toyota quality are really the same thing.

It's a lot like asking me to offer s sunroofed truck for testing without telling me the full details of the testing procedure, only to chortle 24/7 later on how my truck did not do as well on surviving a flip as a domestic hardtop. Or spitting on all of my SUVs because one model did not prove invincible on high speed turns. Hopefully Toyota will make this kind of SUV soon.

  • @seseljsrs Your a fucking joke like all toyota lovers. YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE TOYOTA YOU LOVE! What a pathetic analogy...truly moronic. IDIOT! ALL OF THE AUTO MAKERS WERE PRESENTED OVER 3 YEARS AGO THE NEW IIHS ROOF CRASH TESTING PROTOCOLS FOR 2010 AND TOLD TO BE READY IN DESIGN AND SUBMIT YOUR MODELS FOR TESTING. THE FUCKING DOMESTICS ALL SHOWED UP WITH THEIR 2010 MODELS FOR TESTING - TOYOTA KNEW AND DID NOTHING AS USUAL! THEN THEY HELD A PRESS CONF. AND CRIED ABOUT IT....!

  • @guinmaan ....THEN THE IIHS HELD A PRESS CONFERENCE TO FILL THE PUBLIC IN ABOUT THE DETAILS I MENTIONED. EVERYBODY WAS GIVEN DUE NOTICE AND PROTOCOL. THOSE SHITTY CAR MAKING YANKS SHOWED UP WITH THEIR NEW TRUCKS AND SUV'S TO BE TESTED WHILE TOYOTA SENT ONLY 3 CARS! GO TO TRUTH ABOUT TRUCKSDOTCOM (FORD) AND SEE A TEAR DOWN SIDE BY SIDE OF TURDRA VS. F150 AND NOTE THE FUCKING JOKE ROOF STRUCTURE THAT WOULD SURELY FAIL THE TESTS WHICH IS WHY TOYOTA NEVER SUBMITTED ANY TRUCKS/SUVS!

  • @seseljsrs ...and I appreciate your admission that you own a toyota, think its a great car and that USA can't make a good car. you hate gov't bail outs and unions yet EVERY TOYOTA PLANT OUTSIDE OF THE USA IS UNION! & THEY TOOK A 2 BILLION HANDOUT FROM JAP GOV'T LAST YEAR. Toyota is in a void...one they love called the pacific ocean where HQ does not answer to americans concerns over the junk they sell. Your a NUT to believe that somehow toyota's success and profit is even noted by ANY govt

  • Comment removed

  • Of course... Toyota are and will be the best forever... I don't believe so much in JD Power, but JD Power, again... Toyota and Lexus are the best in 2010... That reputation has been worked with quality and good price... I can't understand that ridiculous people attacking to Toyota just because of complex.

  • Germany is a different country after joining the E.U. Japan still has too many ultranationalists, and they hate just about anybody that's not japanese, i don't think they'll ever join something like the E.U. of Asia.

  • @ryunbaik

Germany is the EU. No Germany, no EU. The reason there is this whitewashing of German statehood which you so unwittingly parrot has to do with this entire reality. And so, an entire mythology of "deNazification" was created and after only 3 years Germany was already part of a nascent EU.

Germany is the EU, which is reflected in the reality that she is footing the bill for many of the other members. Whether she can afford to do so for another 10 years remains doubtful.

  • @seseljsrs Okay? Didn't I say Germany was part of E.U.? What is your point in this? I pointed this out because Japan can't do something what Germany did.

  • I feel sorry for Toyoda, but can you imagine what would happen if we let U.S. economy fall and not recover? Do you really want China to catch up and surpass the U.S.? U.S. in power is different from Germany, China or Japan in power. We are not at WWIII because U.S. is leading the way. Bullies or not, at least U.S. doesn't try to slaughter or conquer the world.

  • @ryunbaik

Your post deserves a special raspberry prize for most delusional.

  • @seseljsrs I only stated that Japan would have done worse to the U.S. if Japan had the economical and military power like U.S. did. That is a fact. Power balance always tilts to a new powerful state. Spain to Britain to Germany to the United States. Each abused their own power. I stated facts, what the hell you commenting saying i'm brain washed? Is Japan so peaceful and NOT ultranationalistic that they don't apologize for the war they caused? Germany apologized and still is.

  • @ryunbaik

"Ultranationalism" is an empty expression, a rhetorical device intended to demonise, and thereby attack the right to sovereignty on the part of other states.

Your apologies for Germany are bizarre, but not something I haven't encountered many times before. Apologies were forced upon Germany, and Germans echoed them - mindlessly and insincerely, that's all.

I do recognise, however, your view "do unto others before they do unto you" is probably the consequence of brainwashing.

  • @seseljsrs Also, I never said what U.S. did to Toyoda was justified. I'm just saying, in a realistic world, countries do what they must in order to protect their own interest. Just like the U.S. attacked on Toyota, just like Japan tries to cover for its war crimes. China also refuses to give Tibetians and Uyghurs freedom. It's a sad fact, but it's true. Nothing you can do about it.

  • @ryunbaik

Japanese war crimes? You're talking about 65 years ago?? What does this have to do with protectionism against Toyota and other foreign manufacturers today?

What your post suggests to me is that as long as an economic competitor can be demonised politically, for any reason, than it's alright to change the rules of the game to suit whatever interests Washington might have at the moment. That kind of thinking is not going to win the US any friends.

  • If Japan was in power leading the global market. For the future of Japan, they would've done the same or worse to United States if they were in U.S shoes. U.S. government did what they had to do for the future of their country. Each country is sovereign and they have to collect and maintain their own interest in order to survive. You learn this in international politics in college, basics of all basics. On top of that, Japan recently had a protest against U.S. military in Japan.

  • @ryunbaik

Your educational background reflects brainwashing more than anything else.

The US has been doing for the past 20 years what it criticised other countries for most of the 20th century - protectionism, nationalisation of industries, etc but also going one better through extending CIA false flag operations towards these objectives. It's really shameful behaviour from an empire built on stolen land which owes the entirety of its economic success to imported labour.

  • @seseljsrs Stolen land. I thought the Japanese took over the Ainu and Okinawan Natives didn't they? What the hell is the difference. What country didn't take over another group of people? China is another big example. Why would you label other people's idea's as brainwashing? Are you telling me you're so smart you know everything that's going on? Please.

  • @ryunbaik

What I'm telling you is the US is applying a tactic very commonplace in politics - the negative ad campaign - to business and the free market. It an only mean bad things for the consumer, who already knows what kind of results the negative ad campaign gets in politics - unqualified persons abusing office for personal gain. Oh yes, that, and more taxes.

  • @seseljsrs Well, i think it's more for a country's gain than a personal gain. Either case, situation with Toyota wasn't fair and it wasn't right, immoral if that's what people call it. If the U.S. really wanted to compete back into the auto industry, instead of attacking Toyoda, they should be fair is what people are saying, but that is hard to ask from a country that is protecting its own self interest. Sad fact is, morality and politics just do not coexist.

  • @ryunbaik

That's true enough as revealed by the discrepancy between US deed and word, but your closing statement is a contradiction of much US rhetoric which claims otherwise, especially in criticising foreign states.

The Toyota case is an exercise in determining the domestic public's RESISTANCE to Washington's nationalisation/protection of domestic corporate interests. Washington was encouraged to do this by the passivity of US ratepayers to its recent bailouts of those same interests.
