  • "Out of my way, wench..."

  • move bitch get out da way, get OUT DA WAY!

  • stupid kid its a komodo dragon

  • @PEPIOROCKS Stupid person, its a Water Monitor, which are very mellow creatures.

  • @Alucard0715 I must always get the exception to that rule about water monitors being mellow, I read online, look at videos on here everyone says mellow, every one I have is a speed freak that thinks its the crocodile from lake placid >.> its happend twice now lol maybe ill try to find one thats older.

  • @michaelofnewbabylon when they are young, most lizards are much more flighty and more likely to run around. you need to take a lot of time to tame them and connect with them and they calm down more as they get older and trust you more. its a lot of work.

  • @PEPIOROCKS That is most definitely not a komodo dragon.

  • prehistoric reptiles....

  • it Is Mr.Kipling From Jessie :D

  • That one is still growing. I had a similar experience with one about twice that size. It behaved the same way, it could care less about being around people. Awesome lizards for sure.

  • cats are for pussies

    dogs are for men

water monitors are for chuck norris's baby

    dinosaurs are for chuck norris

  • i hope that kid gets eaten by that thing!

  • friend of mine has one of these things. Behind a cage. I get close to it and it was going ape shit with his tounge towards me

  • Monitors can be very aggresive but holy shit, he is the nicest, fattest, healthiest monitor i have seen! good job!

  • woooooooow ( it is the enough world to describe the video )

  • where you were ? which country

  • The girl is scared of the lizard i think they are cute

  • What an amazing monitor. :) I'd love to be able to have one day when I can actually afford it.

  • Shiiiiit it is big

  • i want one!!!!!!!!

  • prehistoric pets

  • Are they safe to keep ?? :D , I'm only 14 and I wan't one :)

  • @legendsveil Yes they are sold as pets. but at 14 i dont think you need to get one.. they take alot of caution because their tail is strong enough to break bones when it is swong.. there are other monitors or other lizards that look like monitors but that are smaller and easier to keep :D

  • @twowords1 I feel like getting one :), but are they good pets? xD , cause I don't like small reptiles, they kinda creap me out and I don't want to just loose it fast, lol , I'm good with pets and feel like getting one. :)

  • @legendsveil it all depends because like i said is that their tails can break bones when they are swong. plus you need a HUGE room for them to stay in.. If you want a reptile that doesnt stay small look into rhyno iguanas or green iguanas because they stay smaller than a six foot monitor :)

  • @legendsveil No, they aren't good pets. They're for EXPERIENCED reptile keepers, since they are wild animals, and are easily capable of biting your face off, or biting whatever ELSE off they want once they get big enough. Their bites can be deadly due to bacteria in their mouths from the day theyre born, the males have a tendency to ejaculate on whatever they feel like, whenever they feel like and will attempt to mate you, as twowords said they are VERY powerfully-muscled.

  • Yea when i have friends come over i have my 6 foot lizard crawl all over em to... *facepalm*

  • id be scared af!!

  • เฮี้ย

  • chuck norris's daughter

  • fat ass monitor!

  • The girl is cute

  • @chenbaojie1999 Pedophile! STRANGER DANGER!!!

  • Why are you scared

  • i love how ppl dont know a thing about reptiles and they still dont comment its probably only about 5 feet and if its that tame to trust someone to walk on then its not going to bite and their not venimous not a komodo dragan their illegal to own except for zoos

  • your daughter is pretty brave

  • erica u cute.i luv u

  • Wow, what a giant o.O

  • @Z51Chevy INDEED

  • you should rename it "Lunch and water monitor"

  • holy ding dong that thing is motherfucking huge!

  • Dangerous?

  • @choongd I'd be cautious. All monitors are natural killers, and they're pretty strong as well

  • His awesomly fat

  • Why is she afraid ?

If I was there the lizard would be afraid not me

  • What is the diference between a water monitor and a komodo dragon?

  • @EMello86 ewater monitors live in water and are bigger look on the discovery channel dumbass

  • @jgantner1 Water monitors are not bigger than a Komodo Dragon ROFLMFAO...

Water Monitors can grow to be almost as long as a Komodo (9 foot) but only roughly half the weight.

They are basically a substitue, the biggest Komodo was 10'2", and 300 lbs.

Still they are the second largest monitors in terms of bulk.

The longest Monitor would be the Crocodile which is reputed to grow up to 15 feet, the longest on record is 11, but they are mostly tail.

  • @whiteyr44 lol, you are wrong... trying to be clever and failing

The longest monitor ever recorded was a water monitor at 11foot, the biggest crocodile monitor wasn't even 9ft. Water monitors are the longest lizards, and komodo dragons are the heaviest.

  • @FireKudan I'm sorry but I disbelieve any Salvator (Water) has ever reached 11 feet.

Here are the record numbers for you.

Komodo Dragon, 10'2'' in length, weight: 365 lbs

Varanus Salvardorii (Crocodile Monitor): 9ft+ (some sites say 11.5 ft, e.g. saint louise zoo)

Varanus Salvator (Water Monitor): 10ft+ weight: 100lbs (I have heard the largest is 11 foot but I don't buy it sorry)

Still makes Komodos the largest, these records are individuals and do not represent the size of the sp.

  • @FireKudan Now a quote from an experienced monitor lizard keeper, Crocdoc2: "but if one were to take the average maximum length of all of the lizards I think tree crocodiles would come out near the top because of their long tail."

In mass the overall largest is V.Komodoensis, in length the largest is V.Salvadorii.

The water monitor is almost equivalent to the komodo in length, but roughly half the bulk.

    End of discussion.

  • Guiness world records 04 page 60/61:

    LONGEST LIZARD

The Salvadori or Papuan Monitor has been measured at up to 4.75m (15ft 7 in) in length, but nearly 70% of its total length is taken up by the tail.

    LARGEST LIZARD

The Komodo Dragon, Males average 2.25m (7ft 5 in) in length and weigh about 59kg (130lb). The largest acurately measured specimen was a male presented to a US zoologist in 1928 by the Sultan of Bima. In 1937 it measured 3.1m (10ft 2 in) in length and weighed 166kg (365lb).

  • @FireKudan The largest water monitor ever was supposed to be 10'5" but apparently got destroyed in the WW2 bombings.

Where you got 11ft long from i'll never know, and the remains are long gone.

One specimen being 3" longer than the the longest komodo does not make water monitors bigger, which was what my original comment was aimed at, this was one just one individual and this specimen barely weighed 100 lbs.

Now as I said before, The largest monitor is and will always be the komodo.

  • @FireKudan Here is a link to a croc monitor that is 9'2", enjoy =)

    passion-varans.forumpro.fr/t787-varanus-salvadorii

  • @FireKudan Water monitors are NOT the longest lizards period, they are smaller on average in length than the Komodo Dragon, they are the second longest and possibly third longest lizard.

Now it is you who is trying to be clever and failing.

One individual does not make the species larger, that is the exception and not the rule.

  • nice prehistoric pets my cusin works there

  • i dont even care if that crawled on me

  • female or male monitor?

  • @drakearagon clearly a male

  • Yay let's give them both a gold star!

  • OMG .. even reptiles are over weight in saudi lmao

  • Nice monitor but looks over weight. I can't even let my water monitor out when most kids and with any stranger around or he'll either try to attack them or try and run get out of his enclosure because of stuff that happened with him when he was younger.

  • tail is to short and he's way to fat.

  • @dawaswelgoe why be such a little bitch?

  • It's nice to see a child who isn't petrified of a reptile that's not trying to hurt anybody.

  • @d3th4u2

woa i honestly dont remember posting this ineed to delete it lol

  • @d3th4u2 I just got my baby water monitor and it doesn't even try to run away from me lol, so your right they are pretty nice, I've seen niles though throw a fit at time, but niles are pretty much the same. The thing is Niles are sometimes more aggresive and not as easy to tame, but its not that hard to tame them if you take them out there cage everyday and just chill with them lol

  • allleeex!!!!

    its gotta be!!
