It's a beta. Right now on the Playstation store you can go download the HOME theme, and it's your application to get into the beta. Sony monitors everyone who downloaded it's online activity and psn activity t see who to select to join home.

They did. They call it playstation network cards. apparently you can only find them at ebay at the time. search for it on ebay

And in Japan. I suggest getting a prepaid Vanilla mastercard though. I got overcharged cause I was using the wrong security code (It's the 3 digit one!!!) But I emailed them and they gave my money on the card back, And there's one dollar they owe me but that's the one sony uses to verify your card. It comes in 7 days.
