4 stages of fetal development can be found in "Galen: On Semen" (Hardcover)by Phillip De Lacy (Author) ISBN-10: 3050018631. BTW corpus also means a large collection of writings.

Galen, Galen... it's an obsession with you. Anyway, you know very well that the Koran is not a scientific textbook, unlike what your favorite greek author wrote. But it explains correctly and in simple words many scientific phenomena. Therefore, "blood clot" in this context doesn't mean an actual blood clot, but something that looks like a blood clot, which is true. The sun is also called a "lamp" in the Koran, it is obviously a comparison, not an actual lamp.

let's assume that galen's work was "widely" available in the pre-islamic era, one thousand years before its first translation into latin. the problem is that galen's observations are crippled with mistakes, such as the blood is made in the liver and mixed with air in the heart. but why can't we find any such mistakes in the Koran ? I am not a muslim btw.

The Quran describes perfectly how humans started and that is the point here.
