I have sold the Messenger to clubs, mobile djs, bowling centers (great for them!), and they have all told me how well it has worked for them... and now with it being $50 less then it was originally, I am selling them even more then before!

If you really want a great top of the line, cost effective light...go with the Chauvet MiN spot, or MiN wash. These lights are only about 8 pounds, are led, and are full intelligent moving yoke lights. They look awesome and can be found at a great price on eBay!!

i used to be in your shoes mate. go grab yourself a sunday job get a pair of 150W speakers and some pod lights and start doing small discos on your pc. with the money you make you can buy more equipment and go where you want from there. im doing it, my mate did it. it works ;)

With the old knight trussing, you can clamp it pretty much anywhere there is free space. I wish someone would make a truss like that today. It seems everything that's out now pretty much has to attatch at the end :(

Wow Brian! You certainly delivered on this one! I didn't mean for you to have to go through "all that trouble" just to show off one light. That's almost like...work! But if you're anything like me and hundreds of other DJ's you get as much out of looking at the lights, and the fog and the music as the guests at your events do. I used to set-up stuff even if it wasn't paid for just so I could play with it. I've since wised up a bit, ut it's all still fun to show off your stuff sometimes.
