I have Lyme Disease, It's sad but true. I'm only eleven years old, i got it from my mom. She got bite by a tick and that's how it all started. All of our doctors said "There is nothing wrong." But... really there was something wrong. Our other doctor, diagnosed us with Lyme Disease. We went to Worlds Of Fun, and my mom got really sick on a ride & also my brother. She had to be taken to a hospital. I was so scared & right there i started crying. I think i was eight. But we are happy now.
that´s really true, I got it. Unfortunately.... and our doctors? You need a psychiatrist. Just note, I have never had depresion, never had mentals problems.
I have lyme disease and taking all the pills sucks a lot not gonna lie haha. But also I mostly depend on days now I have good days and I have bad days (also i had mono when i first got lyme disease ).
@ccutehoney i also had mono to start. I woke up feeling terrible even though i was fine the day before. i alwayz daze out and im stupid along with all the other symptoms
i just started treatment today for lymes disease it's only a weeks course of medication, i am feeling terrible at the moment more so then normal, i already have fibromyalgia and arthise (sorry for spelling) and this lymes disease is making everything 10% worse !!!!, I knew there was something wrong when my symptoms were new ,pain was different after having my other illness for 20years since i was 10, i knew there was something new going on, hopefully feel better soon !!
I have Lymes Disease. Yes, it's not nice, but it's not as bad as this video makes out. If you have it and are worried, please don't allow this video to sway you. Go to a doctor, have it treated with antibiotics.
Trying to wake him up but he wouldnt waje up so i called 911 then. My grandpa who lived next door and he came over with my cusion and uncle and they told me to got stand in the road and wIt on hte ambulance and the docter said he had a severe seazure. He couldnt go back to work. Anout six months later he got back to work after being in the hosppitle numerous times. But this video made me cry.
Im 13 and my dad got lyme desiese when i turned 9 he was my soccer coach and always took me fishing and helped me in all my sports and school. But mine and his and my moms life changed after he was diagnoed he could barely walk and i remember crying every night and asking god why he was trying to take my daddy. A few years later when i was 11 i walked into his room looking for my cell phone and he was making strange noises and i walked to him and he was blue and shajeing so i started yelling and
Very nicely done! Please be careful with your treatments - what doctors you trust - who you listen to. I'm fortunate mine has been dealing with this for 20 years and speaks all over the country on this issue and her mentor is one of the top lyme docs in the country. My prayer is more effort is put into curing us and we all get well soon.
You want something that'll CURE 'Lyme Disease'?? (Now, I'm NOT talking about Tetracycline either, ''as this may only make it worse"!) Try using Colloidal Silver some time. Stay WITHIN 5ppm, & you won't have anything to worry.
BUT, if you don't use this, "then you are on you OWN". And there's many ignorant people, who deserve it.. (Google 'blood zapper' sometime, for better results!) The ONLY reason WHY Lyme Disease is SO prolific, is that most people/Dr.'s DON'T know how to deal with it...!
@m2diggs About 8 years ago, I knew of a neighbor who got Lyme. His doctor gave him Tetracycline, which only made it worse. I have made my own C. Silver for about 15 years now. I gave him about 1 quart back then. He took about a teaspoon of the 5 ppm solution I gave him, once a day for a week, then twice a week, with plenty of fresh water. I got word a few weeks later that he was through with the Lyme, as the symptoms had all disappeared. There's plenty of good info about this if you Google it.
Can Lyme disease cause cystic acne, hot flash like symptoms, and high prolactin levels in men? 5 years ago I was bit by 2 ticks while landscaping, and ever since then I've had all these symptoms that doctors can't seem to get a handle on. Test showed I had Lyme Disease but the antibiotics I was on cured it. However, my symptoms still persist. Could I still have Lyme disease or is it something else causing this cystic acne and hot flash like symptoms in me?
Very interesting. Thanks. Why no one said anything to me about this is unbelievable. About 5 years when I was bit by 2 tick, I had also gone on a 5 hour tubing trip that same year on a river up in Pennsylvania. It was a long trip and there was nowhere to pee except for in the river, so that's what I did. I had assumed the tick bite is what made me sick, but I'm now wondering if some kind of parasite entered my body when peeing in the river.
I had severe, late-stage Lyme Disease, went through hell on earth, but was healed of it. Over about the previous 10 posts (sorry for so many) is my advice on getting to a doc, getting well, and preventing Lyme. It took me a year and a half to completely beat it. But don't be scared - my wife got it years later and as we recognized early symptoms, she got immediate treatment, so hers was only 48 hours of symptoms and antibiotic pills for a month - nothing to it. (cont)
(cont) As you kill off the Lyme bacteria (spyrokeets) the increase in symptoms (you may get a good bit worse, temporarily) is called a Herxheimer reaction - which means you are making progress, but an inexperienced doc might mistake it for a reaction to the antibiotics and either pull you off or decrease it to an ineffective dose - so doctor experience with Lyme is key. (cont)
If you have Lyme, now is time for the best nutrition - eat healthy, cut out all sugars (check labels - sugar is everywhere). EXERCISE as you can - helps fire up your immune system. I'm convinced that the biking and powerwalking I did helped heat up my body (Lyme spirokeets are killed when they get sufficient heat and oxygen), driving them out from the tissues and into the bloodstream where the antibiotics could kill them. Beware you WILL have temporary increases in symptoms as you kill it off.
If you are under antibiotic treatment, make sure you are avoiding sugar and take REFRIGERATED (only) acidophilus capsules - to avoid fungal infections. If you see a thrush or white or yellow buildup on your tongue, this is likely a fungal infection. Take an antifungal - great organic one is (from Natural Factors) Peppermint and Oregano Oil Complex capsules - take 3 - 4 a day.
(Cont) Before going in woods: ALWAYS wear boots with pants tucked into them - or tucked into your socks. Tuck your shirt in. Wear a hat. Treat ALL outer clothes first with a Pemethrin product. Upon leaving: Have someone check you over, especially your hair. Tick nymphs in spring can be as small as a pencil tip. Upon coming inside: Put your clothes in the dryer on HIGH heat for half hour; Immediately shower - hose down the shower stall afterward. Be sure none were dropped from clothes. (cont)
Keep your yard tick free. Google DIY Pest Control and buy their "Dragnet" product. Treat your yard and then about 10 or so feet between the woods/and adjacent weedy areas by making a chemical "moat." This will kill whatever crawls up from the woods. Treat the yard in early spring and fall. Prevention is not difficult and is as simple as merely applying common sense and using good products. As much as a nightmare my Lyme was, thanks to GOD, I am completely well. You CAN get well. Have FAITH!
(cont) Best to be proactive: Ticks can be active whenever the temp is above freezing - so warm winter days - especially in the South - ticks may be active. Before going into woods - or equally dangerous - the weedy areas adjacent woods: Spray your CLOTHES (NOT your skin) with a PEMETHRIN spray (like Duranon) - this will kill ticks that get on your clothes. Deet is relatively worthless against ticks, but you can SUPPLEMENT a Pemethrin product with a Deet one on skin. (cont)
(Cont) My wife got Lyme years after me - it began with a simple rash - not the classic "bull's eye" one, just a rash. Up to 50% or more never see the "bull's eye" type rash - I didn't either. Her Lyme symptoms were gone with 48 hours of beginning oral antibiotics. - she stayed on the 30 days. If symptoms persist after initial treatment, don't ever let a doc tell you that Lyme can't survive a simple round or two of antibiotics - it CAN. You may need a DIFFERENT antibiotic or higher dose. (cont)
(Cont) If you suspect you might have Lyme: 1) search online to find out what docs are in your area that have experience with it; 2) Google "Joseph Burrascano Lyme Disease Treatment Protocol" - Burrascano is likely the country's most-experienced Lyme doc - I was treated according to his protocol - it has a diagnostic symptoms questionnaire and treatment suggestions - take it to your doc. DON'T WAIT! EARLY Lyme may be treated as simple as a month of antibiotics. (cont)
(Cont) Testing for Lyme is nearly worthless. I NEVER tested positive, NEVER saw a bite or rash, but had virtually all the symptoms. Initially, I had only an allergy like fatigue. Later, I was progressively sick over many months - right before my diagnosis, I hurt all over, my joints were clicking and hurting, my eyes had "floaters" and "snow" in my vision. My fingers were going numb. I was stuttering, my memory was very bad and I had a mental "fog," and extreme fatigue, low-grade fever (cont).
OK, as one who had severe, late-stage Lyme, so severe that it took many months of IV antibiotic treatment and about another year of oral antibiotics, here is what I learned:
1 - If you suspect Lyme, RUN to a doc who you know has experience treating it. MOST docs are ignorant about it. In the South U.S., many don't even believe it exists - or rarely does - so they dismiss it - may try to send you to a psychiatrist. So, don't waste precious time with a doc unfamiliar with treating Lyme. (Cont)
I'm not trying to be a troll, but I am shitting my pants right now, I think I have it and I was just gonna see if it would just go away but damn you have scared me shitless!
There are several articles online concerning alligator blood. From what I have read, this blood can potentially defeat many types of bacteria. They have also found that he can destroy / disable some viral infections. What about Lyme bacteria ? Would'nt that be a blessing. Supposedly, the blood's derivatives may one day be available in medicinal form.
Please send an email to PBS and thank them for agreeing to air the Lyme documentary: Under Our Skin. This film is set to air next month. From what I am hearing, the IDSA is trying to stop PBS from showing this film. Please guys, let PBS know how much you appreciate them showing this remarkable documentary about Lyme disease. Go to the PBS website. Once there, click on: Contact Us next click on: Contact Your Local PBS Station. God bless
I am 15 and struggle with late stage chronic lyme disease. I created a social network for teens with lyme so they could connect and give support. Hope to see you there! lymeteens.socialgo.com
Been suffering from Lyme since I was in second grade, and today was the day that I woke up and actually FELT hope! All this time I have prayed for it, and believed in it but today was the day I held it in my hands. In my body and in my heart! I knew this was it, this was my turning point. I will get better from here. It might have taken 5 painful years, an tons of mis-diagnosis but I'M BACK!!!!! And to all those who are still suffering, you will get better!
Dr. Joseph Jemsek is a Lyme disease specialist that has sacrificed everything to treat Lyme patients. His 6 year old daughter desperately needs our help. Her name is Jordan Jemsek and last year she was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (aml). She needs a donor asap or she won't survive. Lyme disease patients don't qualify but we can spread the word. For more details please contact
I had lyme disease a few months ago. I got doxicyclin for 10 days. then everything was ok but now I think I might can have lyme disease again. I hope it´s not the truth but I have to know. tomorrow my doctor will tell me what I have.
For everybody who has lyme disease I wish the best. Do not give up!!! (I know my english isn´t the best, but the only thing that´s important is the content.)
There are cures for Lyme Disease. Alternative treatments in Rife Frequency Technology, Skilling Institute, and others. The problem with Lymes is that it goes dormant and hides in it's own biofilm where it's safe. It comes out most frequently near the moon cycles, to lay eggs and move around to new areas of the body.
is this the reason why i have been feeling extreme fatigue although i have been sleeping so long? and so much anxiety? ear zaps? can anxiety mimic symptoms of lyme? like aches, headaches, fatigue, and irritability?
diagnosed with rocky mountain spotted tick fever 3 1/2 yrs ago, tested for some bad dzs, 9mths later tested with tick panel and discovered rmsf. I suffer with severe muscle pain, found that my heart is dilated, blood sugar dropping low and not diabetic?? memory problems. I used to be a weight lifter and runner, now im doing good to lift my fork to my mouth and walk around the block a few times. Some days I dream of heaven and not more pain and tears...Jesus wept and so do I....
@wickedliza503 well you got on it early. I went to Dr with a lyme tick still stuck in my head and the fucker gave me no antibiotics, I am in chronic lyme and suffering 15yrs on.
ug I know how u feel. I have lymes for the second time In my life. I did have it two years ago and my left knee swelled up like a balloon and It hurt so bad. I was treated and 2 years later I'm tired having headaches dizziness I never feel good. the doctors did a blood test and discovered I had lymes. it's hard I know but you'll get used to it eventually. trust me it'll be fine!
WOW! FDA there has been a good remedy out there for 60 darn years, dissolve vitamin C supplement 1000mg in water then flavor it, then dissolve sea salt in the water and drink, keep drinking until your symtomps are gone but still take your medicine!
This is a bit dramatic. Lyme disease is a bitch. I got it when I was nine. I can't remember the last time I didn't have pain. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Maybe one day I'll wake up and not have pain. If anyone has gone through it send me a pm.
Free energy technology exists! But there are very powerfull forces that want to supress the technology,Check this free energy magnet motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Start the revolution!
Sorry buddy I am not a dramatic person but this is by no means dramatic. There are so many strains, co infections and secondaries that come with the disease. Each case is so different from the next. You must of lucked out with the marginal level of symptoms or have stage 2 not 3 chronic Lyme. Obviously you aren't bed ridden, in a wheel chair having seizures and so forth. This is poorer quality of life than a cancer patients. It just an existence not a life. Count your blessings brotha!
I forgot to mention my regular MD (after many tests, including a hospital stress test which cost me a $508 copay) told me, with a grin, I was just out of shape. Joining the 7th Day Adventist Church also helped as they are big on proper nutrition for the body.
Plum Island, Gov't Labs. That's where it came from. West Nile Virus too! Thanks UncLe Sam. I have it. My wife has it. My friends have it. I found a naturopathic doctor who also had it and helped us overcome it. No anti-biotics but rebuild your immune system through reflexology. That's helped us. Good video but it don't mention air hunger or Lyme rage. I suppose my you-tube account will be cancelled when Uncle Sam sees I mentioned Plum Island. Oh well!
I was diagnosed early and took the antibiotics but I couldn't stomach them for more then five days. I still had the antibodies in my system (two weeks after the bite) but I'm taking something called Prima Una de Gato Liquid (or Cats Claw), it's not FDA approved but I no longer have symptoms and it hasn't come back.
Thank you for sharing this, it made me cry. I think those same thins almost everyday. I hope there are some new medications or theories thought up soon. I pray for all of our suffering to end. As a sufferer, it meant a lot to see this.
ive got lyme for 2 years, and nothing work until i found acs200 its fda approved and its help me in 2 days, just trying to help other with love from russia
I did lose focus in school and stuff in 6th grade when I had the disease and i remember getting sick often and starting to feel like it was normal for me to feel weak.
I have never taken antibiotics for Lyme disease. I have had it 25 years only diagnosed 1 year now. I have passed it to 2 children. I was so sick I was dying. Heart stopping, going blind, seizures, total loss of mobility. I have used only natural methods and a total change in diet. no sugar, no toxins etc. I attend a clinic that used the Klinghardt method. I am 70% better after only 9 months. Antibiotics have their place but it is not the ONLY choice.
This video is so depressing. I was diagnosed with lyme a week ago. I've had it for a year. It sucks for sure, but it doesn't need to be like this. I finished my first year in law school in the top 20%, feeling sick and tired all year. You MUST push on. Now that I am certain I have it, I am looking forward to moving on, getting healthier. I feel for those who have it worse than me but watching depressing videos makes it worse. A positive outlook on life is always better than a negative outlook.
can somebody tell me how youget lyme disease i mean, i know you get it from ticks and in kentucky ive got bitten by plenty of them, but i dont think i have the disease.just wondering if i was getting lucky becuase i dont have it yet or so. i need a little insight on the matter.
@TheD1V1N1TY I got it from a tick bite when i was 13 years old but I have also passed it to both my children who have been diagnosed and I know for sure my first daughter aged 3 days old had it. She was covered all over in the bullseye rash and we had not even left the hopsital. My youngest has it too. Also my partner. So whatever you read.. do not believe it when they say you ONLY get it from ticks.
I had Lyme disease.... For me it was like feeling tired and slow all the time.... And never able to stop thinking about it. I also suffered from bells paulsy and the day before I went to the hospital I wore 2 heavy winter jackets. I had goosebumps, a fever, and it was the 2nd to last week of school. I got surgery sometime in my week long stay at the hospital. I had already had it for weeks. This video does not describe half the stuff you feel.
Hello, I just found out yesterday that I have Lyme Disease... I was infected from a tick bite about 3 weeks ago... I'm now taken antibiotics called docycycline hyclate for 10 days... Will this be enough since I got treated fairly quick? I had to call 3 diffrent doctors just to take me serious before they would see me... They all said the same thing... NO Lyme Disease in the Kentucky area... shows what they knew.
I would imagine for anyone who actually has Lyme Disease this video would be incredibly irritating. Especially if they endured the whole thing only to be told at the end "Believe in tomorrow." Big help there! Then we're presented with a hard to read, stupidly long, link to another site!
I am working on a product. It is a method for detecting Lyme disease from a tick that could have bitten you. The tic would be sent in a special container, and the results would be emailed back in 48 hours, potentially initiating treatment earlier. My daughter was infected and developed Bell's Palsey. Just wondering, does anyone thing there would be interest?
what the hell is this faggotry? i had lyme and mono at the same time and i took it like a man. i understand some have it hard but still, suck it up and live with it, you dont have another choice.
@rgwood3 while i agree this video is kinda gay.a least their getting the word out..Lyme sucks.alot of people do have it hard.you got lucky to get treatment so soon most people dont.then cant get proper treatment.
I am a child who suffers from it. I have to be HOME SCHOOLED. No friends..Nothing...The only friend I have is my mom. She suffers from it too. Unfortunately mine is higher than hers. Its like OFF the chart high.
It's an OUTRAGE . my husband still refuses to believe and he's watched me suffer for a decade , 2 CDC positive tests as well . He's one of those 'wonderful doctors ' . Shameful to live like this . It's hell
Having never been seriously ill before I got Lyme, it taught me one thing. Doctors are the most romanticized occupation in the history of Western culture.
Eventually they have to admit there is a problem. i found out 2 other people on my 1/4 mile street have Lyme too & I haven't even talked to any of them yet! This is INSANE! Something has to be done for us!
This video is so true. It reminded me of every moment of my last 10 months since I suffered from it. It ruined my life. I was physically on an professional athlete's level and now I can hardly keep up with a beginner scheudle in the gym. But I'm getting better now and have a lot of hope back for a better future.
I wanna thank my girlfriend for sticking with me all this time and always supporting me while everyone else gave up on me.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do internet research on using sea salt for curing Lyme. I had it for seven months before I was diagnosed, and doxycycline only made me sicker. I took a shot of about 1/2 teaspoon of raw sea salt in a small amount of water, and in only hours I felt better than I had in months! I continued this maybe three times a day for several days and it ended my Lyme. I take this "shot" every now and then just to be sure it stays gone. IT WORKS. DO RESEARCH. TELL THE PEOPLE!!
We have staff members who have wrestled with Lyme Disease and have used Fallopia japonica root as a tincture with much success in aleviating the symptoms. One of our instructors jst finished a video on it and will post it on our site soon if it's not up already.
EVERYONE:: PLEASE::: Cure Unknown" (2008) by Pamaela Weintraub ( Senior Editor of Discovery Mag.) I got this book from the library. It answered so many of my questions and I'm SURE it will for you too. PLEASE pass this information on to your network of friends, as this is the only way I can't do it. I'm sick again. Buzz
Good for you! I hope it lasts and we don't see you back up here in a few years! I was treated and it went away too! That was years ago.
Keep your negativity to yourself. Didn't you ever learn that if you had nothing good to say, don't say anything! Go join the folks of IDSA if you're such a fine specimen of health. Let them study your "cured" state!
You preach about negativity? This is probably the most depressing video i have ever seen! All thats happening here is that thousands of psychosomatics are watching this and becoming worse. Even a goddam cartoon "The Simpsons", proferred the idea of psychosomatism and lymes disease. I think you should all get over it and get on with life instead of watching stuff like this. "langus1000", you and your breed can study the engorged state of my dick.
If anyone had had really knotty/hard/painfull muscles from lyme, mesage and let me know what helped/your treatment. Got diagnosed 5 months ago. HELP. ....im on ammox, zith, mepron, artemisinin. Want to start IV rocephin
@lymeterminator i agree. do your own research and don't take the drugs. you can beat it naturally. i know i did it - after living with lyme for 20 years.
i am and have suffered from lyme disease.the only thing doctors know is antibiotics.trust your instincs.i knew i had to flush my body from these harmful bacterias.and i did.i did a natural cleansing.of course it wasnt fda approved but what real working medicen is?i tell you it works.fulsh your body it takes monthes but its worth it.
If anyone had had really knotty/hard/painfull muscles from lyme, mesage and let me know what helped/your treatment. Got diagnosed 5 months ago. HELP. ....im on ammox, zith, mepron, artemisinin. Want to start IV rocephin
Kaliyeal, you're spreading dangerous misinformation, and it could have real consequences. By saying what you're saying right now, someone might see it and choose to not seek medical treatment. Lyme disease is easily treatable with doxycycline and/or ceftriaxone. There is no significant antibiotic resistance. Stop, please.
@kaliyeal my friend was allergic to doxy anti so whatever lyme disease is very underestimated.its not easy to take a pill for a few monthes and wala its gone you are clueless giggletronic so you please stop and tell my friend who was allergic to the medicen how easy it is to get rid off
@giggletronics are you a doctor.a man almost died and doctors did nothing from it.he did research and is selling his product at kimberton whole foods world wide.some people are allergic to antibiotics some people are resistance and you know what doctors are starting to believe its not that EASY like you said to treat it and i should know i was one! antibiotics is not a miracle pill you are the one spreading misinformation
Your grammar is awful. Perhaps you should learn to communicate in properly in the English language. You betray a childish understanding of medical science. You seem to think that antibiotics is a single thing. You don't just get a bottle of pills prescribed by the doctor marked "antibiotics". Certain antibiotics are needed for certain diseases. Proper diagnosis will elucidate which antibiotic must be used. (cont'd)
Doxycycline and ceftriaxone are well-understood, well-tested, and well-suited antibiotic drugs used to treat Lyme disease. Antibiotic allergy is easy to get around. Methods exists to tailor treatment to the patient. A competent physician isn't just throwing random drugs at you and hoping that something works. The evidence is insurmountable. It's simple. You have absolutely no evidence to back up your bullshit claim. You're just some nut who doesn't understand the world. You child.
What's unfortunate about this is that people might read your comment at the top of the page, and they might believe it. And if they actually do have Lyme disease, they will suffer the consequences of not getting proper treatment. Or maybe that person's kid is the one with the disease and that little child doesn't get proper treatment and will needlessly suffer. All because of an uneducated fool like yourself. For once in your life, think about what you're doing.
@giggletronics i almost died too i pleaded with my doc but all he wanted to do was put me on prozac! i switched docs and got retested. i also had a yeast over growth in my tummy and then they tell me " oh take probiotics wen being on antibiotics for so long" i think you underestimate people and you have to be this HERO parents r not going to go on youtube befor a doctor wen their kid gets sick com on give people some credit
u took one comment and starting going off on this tantrum about kids dying etc and then u call me nuts there is no cure for the cold but people take supplements to help with their immune system so i mean really let people try for them selves after initial treatment if they still feel crappy
@kaliyeal Hi there! Not trying to be nosy, but could you recommend on this page the unapproved fda natural cleansing course? I believe that it would be of great help to ppl that suffer from lyme. I don't suffer from it, but I do feel the misery that they have.
@kaliyeal i have been diagnosed w/ lyme. Its so painful, some nights i cant even lie down and i have trouble walking. i dont feel like myself. its gonna be a long journey. any support groups out there?
When I went to my doctor explaining my symptoms, he wanted to test me for mono. I told him I wanted to be tested for Lyme and he said "There are no ticks around this time of the year." It was February and my dog was just diagnosed with Lyme and I insisted on the test. He called me 2 days later and confirmed my suspicions. His treatment was short term anti-biotics, which were useless to me. I do not suffer all the effects as some people, but I feel very bad for those who suffer with this disease.
@sjackson1515 no doctor can know your body better than you. listen to your body and do not take any pharma drugs. you can beat the critters naturally - i did it. had lyme for 20 years.
as a former microbiologist i was always appalled at the ignorance of the average practicing physician as to this disease cause treatment symptoms and to tell you the truth most believe it is only a very small area of US and they never will consider it as a diagnosis. In other words
folks most of the time your on your own when you complain to your Doctor.
Lyme disease is absolutely HORRIBLE. As a person with chronic Lyme, Bartonella, and Babesiosis, I cannot begin to tell you how I've suffered for the past 10 years. In year 5 of antibiotics, I'm not sure I'll ever get my life back. I was mis-DX'd for almost 7 years. Now have lost almost everything, including those I thought were my friends -- who left me hopeless and isolated. This video tells it like it is.
Some of the comments here are proof positive that lyme disease is misunderstood and clearly demonstrates why people with lyme feel so isolated. If you were "cured" quickly, good for you. Not everyone is so lucky.
People who get diagnosed and treated during the first stage of the disease generally recover completely. However, those who get treated after stage 2 don't always have it so easy. To make matters worse, those of us who are predisposed to autoimmune diseases can have them "triggered" by untreated Lyme disease. I now suffer from lupus. The fringe groups have done nothing to remedy the problem--they just make us all look like hysterics and crazies. IMHO the IDSA and ILADS both have it wrong.
and all im saying is, if you want to make an impact on people who dont really care... think of a new phrase to get their attention. i feel you are misinterpretating what im trying to say. im not sayin that it isnt an issue... im just saying that a video that has only reached just over 100 thousand people using the same boring lines over and over... isnt gonna make an impact.
lymes disease doesnt do anything to you if you had it less than 6 weeks. and if the tic gets picked off before 48 hours, you probably wont get lymes. i got the bullseye rash, took 30 day worth medicine and i am normal.
If that is what you believe you really do not know the horrible effects of Lyme. I am happy that you were able to catch it early, and that you are ok. However, many of us have not been as lucky. I have been in out of the hospital several times. In addition as many Lymies, I have a long term IV installed for antibiotics. Dont undermine peoples suffering, many of us even sought help and were misdiagnosed
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
dude i got lyme this summer, its not as bad as everyone thinks it is... i got diagnosed the first time i went in, then took 30 days, 60 capsules of deroxcycline and im fine now. i have to admit i felt like shit the first 8 days without the antibiotics but this is all bs
@Bigjman91 You are living very ignorantly if you think that way. You do not realize, just how lucky you are. My friend has lyme and i have watched her DISINTEGRATE. This is not BS, its real life.
Hey Bigjman91.. i had it for 5 years without knowing what caused all my pains and problems, i've been on antibiotics for a total of around 8 months now, still just as bad, it is as bad as people think, you probaly had it for a few weeks or months, no wonder it wasn't bad for you... good for you that you were lucky and got it treated early, but please stop acting arrogant just because you didn't have it as bad as most others, get some experience in life before you go around acting like that...
I'm 13 years old and I have chronic persistent lyme disease. this means that I will have lyme disease all my life. It's like having cancer, only you dont die as quick. You die slowly... 4 years ago, I had lyme disease in my leg. Now the pain came back and it's targetting my tailbone. If i cant find a permanant cure, the lyme disease will target my brain and I would die
lymesis not contagious, ticks are the only vector, aside from getting it genetically through your mother if she has it at the time. And then it would be lethal.
I'm being treated with a heavy dose of Doxycycline. I'm pretty sure it was still at an early stage because I'm not in the hospital. My body hurt so bad and my joints still do. I had a fever and would wake up with a bed so soaked in sweat I'd have to change the sheets, dry myself off and put a towel down. I also lost my appetite, felt very dizzy and nauseous. I thought I had the flew until I noticed a large, itchy, target shaped rash on the back of my leg and new something wasn't right.

Bullshit!
People for sure are SICK, but they have no Lyme.
This is just globe fake f#скing isteria and the medical community don't want to find the real cause.
It is clear that the cause is (!)bacteriological(!), but for sure this is not Lyme, Bart or so-called co-infections(Erlichiosis, Babesiosis etc).
After years it will be said that that was one of th the most huge medical shits in the history.
The world is full of idiots.

(Google 'blood zapper' sometime, for better results!) The ONLY reason WHY Lyme Disease is SO prolific, is that most people/Dr.'s DON'T know how to deal with it...!
crlwllns 6 months ago
@crlwllns Do you know someone who treated their Lyme disease with colloidal silver and cured themselves?
m2diggs 6 months ago

OldSchool710 8 months ago

(cont)
philipatoz 8 months ago
(cont) As you kill off the Lyme bacteria (spyrokeets) the increase in symptoms (you may get a good bit worse, temporarily) is called a Herxheimer reaction - which means you are making progress, but an inexperienced doc might mistake it for a reaction to the antibiotics and either pull you off or decrease it to an ineffective dose - so doctor experience with Lyme is key. (cont)
philipatoz 8 months ago

(cont)
philipatoz 8 months ago
Keep your yard tick free. Google DIY Pest Control and buy their "Dragnet" product. Treat your yard and then about 10 or so feet between the woods/and adjacent weedy areas by making a chemical "moat." This will kill whatever crawls up from the woods. Treat the yard in early spring and fall. Prevention is not difficult and is as simple as merely applying common sense and using good products. As much as a nightmare my Lyme was, thanks to GOD, I am completely well. You CAN get well. Have FAITH!
philipatoz 8 months ago

(cont)
philipatoz 8 months ago
(Cont) Testing for Lyme is nearly worthless. I NEVER tested positive, NEVER saw a bite or rash, but had virtually all the symptoms. Initially, I had only an allergy like fatigue. Later, I was progressively sick over many months - right before my diagnosis, I hurt all over, my joints were clicking and hurting, my eyes had "floaters" and "snow" in my vision. My fingers were going numb. I was stuttering, my memory was very bad and I had a mental "fog," and extreme fatigue, low-grade fever (cont).
philipatoz 8 months ago
OK, as one who had severe, late-stage Lyme, so severe that it took many months of IV antibiotic treatment and about another year of oral antibiotics, here is what I learned:
1 - If you suspect Lyme, RUN to a doc who you know has experience treating it. MOST docs are ignorant about it. In the South U.S., many don't even believe it exists - or rarely does - so they dismiss it - may try to send you to a psychiatrist. So, don't waste precious time with a doc unfamiliar with treating Lyme. (Cont)

@langus1000 "Keep your negativity to yourself"?
You preach about negativity? This is probably the most depressing video i have ever seen! All thats happening here is that thousands of psychosomatics are watching this and becoming worse. Even a goddam cartoon "The Simpsons", proferred the idea of psychosomatism and lymes disease. I think you should all get over it and get on with life instead of watching stuff like this. "langus1000", you and your breed can study the engorged state of my dick.

@kaliyeal what protocols exactly did you use? i did ozone, vit c drips, frequencies.

@kaliyeal

@kaliyeal my friend was allergic to doxy anti so whatever lyme disease is very underestimated.its not easy to take a pill for a few monthes and wala its gone you are clueless giggletronic so you please stop and tell my friend who was allergic to the medicen how easy it is to get rid off
kaliyeal 1 year ago
@giggletronics are you a doctor.a man almost died and doctors did nothing from it.he did research and is selling his product at kimberton whole foods world wide.some people are allergic to antibiotics some people are resistance and you know what doctors are starting to believe its not that EASY like you said to treat it and i should know i was one! antibiotics is not a miracle pill you are the one spreading misinformation
kaliyeal 1 year ago
@kaliyeal
(cont'd)
giggletronics 1 year ago
@kaliyeal
You child.

@giggletronics waaa your grammer is awful.we were talking about lyme not my grammer....lyme does make you a bit nutty and disssllleeexxxic derrrrrr
i have proof go do your own research and mind your business

@kaliyeal
For once in your life, think about what you're doing.
giggletronics 1 year ago
@giggletronics i almost died too i pleaded with my doc but all he wanted to do was put me on prozac! i switched docs and got retested. i also had a yeast over growth in my tummy and then they tell me " oh take probiotics wen being on antibiotics for so long" i think you underestimate people and you have to be this HERO parents r not going to go on youtube befor a doctor wen their kid gets sick com on give people some credit
kaliyeal 1 year ago
u took one comment and starting going off on this tantrum about kids dying etc and then u call me nuts there is no cure for the cold but people take supplements to help with their immune system so i mean really let people try for them selves after initial treatment if they still feel crappy

@kaliyeal would you please elaborate?

@kaliyeal Hi there! Not trying to be nosy, but could you recommend on this page the unapproved fda natural cleansing course? I believe that it would be of great help to ppl that suffer from lyme. I don't suffer from it, but I do feel the misery that they have.
Thank you very much.

This video tells it like it is.
gomilou 2 years ago 12
Some of the comments here are proof positive that lyme disease is misunderstood and clearly demonstrates why people with lyme feel so isolated. If you were "cured" quickly, good for you. Not everyone is so lucky.
Triott 2 years ago 4
People who get diagnosed and treated during the first stage of the disease generally recover completely. However, those who get treated after stage 2 don't always have it so easy. To make matters worse, those of us who are predisposed to autoimmune diseases can have them "triggered" by untreated Lyme disease. I now suffer from lupus. The fringe groups have done nothing to remedy the problem--they just make us all look like hysterics and crazies. IMHO the IDSA and ILADS both have it wrong.

lyme disease does not discriminate... that line has been sooooooo over used.
same with "it affects the rich and the poor"
cady8906 2 years ago
@cady8906,
But diseases do not discriminate, so it continues to be true.
sinsarcasmo 2 years ago
and all im saying is, if you want to make an impact on people who dont really care... think of a new phrase to get their attention. i feel you are misinterpretating what im trying to say. im not sayin that it isnt an issue... im just saying that a video that has only reached just over 100 thousand people using the same boring lines over and over... isnt gonna make an impact.

Got another word for love, illness, or...
diseases do not discriminate?

lymes disease doesnt do anything to you if you had it less than 6 weeks. and if the tic gets picked off before 48 hours, you probably wont get lymes. i got the bullseye rash, took 30 day worth medicine and i am normal.
KingOfKool182 2 years ago
If that is what you believe you really do not know the horrible effects of Lyme. I am happy that you were able to catch it early, and that you are ok. However, many of us have not been as lucky. I have been in out of the hospital several times. In addition as many Lymies, I have a long term IV installed for antibiotics. Dont undermine peoples suffering, many of us even sought help and were misdiagnosed

dude i got lyme this summer, its not as bad as everyone thinks it is... i got diagnosed the first time i went in, then took 30 days, 60 capsules of deroxcycline and im fine now. i have to admit i felt like shit the first 8 days without the antibiotics but this is all bs
Bigjman91 2 years ago
@Bigjman91 You are living very ignorantly if you think that way. You do not realize, just how lucky you are. My friend has lyme and i have watched her DISINTEGRATE. This is not BS, its real life.
Doblington 2 years ago 2

Sakuraflower7 2 years ago
My information is that most ppl can recover fully with antiobotic treatment. What percentage of ppl suffer from chronic lyme, anyone know?
PrismaticRAYS 2 years ago
Probably ones before Lyme was identified in 1975.
Or ones that are too embarrassed to tell anyone about the bullseye skin rashes appearing on their body.
It is ridiculously easy to treat in the majority of the population.

You mean hospitals? You stupid or something?
lymesis not contagious, ticks are the only vector, aside from getting it genetically through your mother if she has it at the time.
