right behind the alligator, is another extra life, or rings, I can't remember, but it's hidden in the corner, you can't see behind the wall. But when you try to jump the gap at 2:45, if you fall, that's where you end up. That's how I found it, I got pissed, and spin-dashed ricochetted. lol

If you do a spin-dash before the gap and time the jump right, you can actually get enough speed to jump all the way over.

I actually find that easier than jumping onto the moving platform.

actually even better, if you jump on the red bumper, it'll bounce you over. Just press the jump button right when you come down, + the direction button. Less risky.

On that part with the chasm and the small platform...your jump is long enough to hop over the pit. You don't need the platform at all.

Damn the music is great. I own a Saturn and had been meaning to pick this game up at one time just for the hell of it really (I never played the Genesis version). I heard the Saturn version was pretty nice though and much better than the Gen version.
