i cant see how anyone can criticise the emergency services. i live really close to cockermouth and i think they were excellent. everyone was there, doing what they could and i think it's awful for people to criticise the work they did

The emergency services do appear to have done outstanding work.

Keswick and Kendal nearly got the same treatment! Both areas were maxed-out on the 19th Nov, with water flowing out of them.
