  • RE the curtain on the back: a lot of people throw liquids into their bins in containers with lids- the compactor squashes them they burst and whats in them eg paint, acid, motor oils, etc - the garbos get covered in the spray. Your car may also cop a spray as well. The curtain stops most of it but not all. This is not an appropriately fitted out vehicle for this type of work. Don't be tempted to check out the compactor whilst in use!

  • Go Botany council. They keep people working. Not like Randwick council they got those one man trucks.

  • gee there quick guys! hah

  • NICE!!!!!!!

  • An automatic binlift is a must have on a route like this one. I would go crazy with this loading system...

  • awesome vid except i hate that hopper cover thing!

  • Yer it's a real shame that it hides the packer action... don't really see the purpose of the curtain either - guess it acts as some kind of spill shield or something?

  • Hmm, didn't seem like the guy that came up to you was that comfortable with the filming...Oh well, awesome post!! 5/5

  • Yer he seemed overly curious about the filming... guess he wanted to know as much as he could - well I didn't lie =] Thanks 4 the comment!

  • Again! They cover the hopper with the curtain! I would give 4 stars, but garbage is awesome, so I give 5 stars! Great video!

  • Awesome! Why don't they just have a dumpster?
