My Daughter is getting me Microsoft Ship sim for my Birthday.. Must say looking at this that is pretty damn realistic.. I was a Deck/ Nav Officer on big tankers and this is superb.. I know this area having been drydocked at Blohm and Voss. Now if only we could simulate a run ashore to Pupasch Bar on Landungsbruke that would be perfect!

Sorry for my curt reply. I saw a game in a local shop which on the front said 'Microsoft Ship Simulator' this was some time ago.

So if I am wrong give me a break already. It looks like a good sim what ever it is!

Seriously - MS have NEVER made a ship simulation. The only ship simulators have been made by Hangsim and VSTEP. This is the one by VSTEP.

Good video, do you know what RAM is needed for 06?

The specs for 2006 say at least 1GB - you will also need a good graphics card, at least a NVIDIA GeForce 5600 or ATI Radeon X600. ~(something with at least 128MB ram. 256 or 512MB would be better).

i love the handling that you use, i use this program in my free time for practicing for my aducation ( fishing ship skipper) its really nice to try as nice as posible getting the ship on his place, i hope we meet eighother in the shipsimulator2008 multiplayer version ;)
