I didn't put it in airplane mode. I got texts and emails, but no phone calls, and I didn't leave the camera app. I don't know how it would handle the incoming call pop-up, but I know you can just ignore the other things. I also know for sure that accepting a call will kill the video in the default app, but I suspect that there could be a hack to work around that. Airplane would probably be the safest bet to make sure you didn't get a break in your video.
@RockoYourSocksoff I have yet to find fault with the display, although the battery life (on all VZW LTE devices) is not exactly great. I'm told the extended battery helps, but if I give myself a 30min power bump at lunch and again during the ride home, I am good until I go to bed.
@RockoYourSocksoff Seriously, it may be pentile, but the display is absolutely right up there alongside the best right now thanks to that Samoled screen and the dense pixel resolution.

It is a built in feature in the Galaxy Nexus video recording app. I set the delay to two seconds and clipped it in the car dock.
