In 1966, Fairlane went to dual reservoir master cylinders. And optional disc brakes. But they still stopped like crap. No different than most US cars of the period.
It IS the voiceover artist for Wendy's and Boar's Head! His name is Joe Sirola- still alive and well.

The Rambler Classic actually outsold the Ford Fairlane in 1965. But I think that was the last and only year that it did.
