  • @22CaliburArmadillo can i use this?

  • @TheSpideyman321 go for it

  • @22CaliburArmadillo thanks

  • nice

  • ok first little robots running around everywhere and now THIS, i want portal or portal 2 REALLY BAD now

  • @KirbyPancakez 30 some bucks at GameStop and EB Games, depends where you are, where you buy it, and when.

  • Rendertime?

After 5h of rendering (22CaliburArmadillo is sleeping):

-Windows Upate, restart in 14:58 minutes...

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • Dude where did you get the models for this?

  • @RTD0909 maybe he made em?

  • @KilleroyCZ Well I would LOVE to have them!

  • @RTD0909 I bet youre not the only one

  • @KilleroyCZ I am a portal nerd and I'm new to 3ds max so I don't know how to make my own models :(

  • @RTD0909 learn it :D

  • DON'T LET THIS GET INTO THE HANDS OF SUPER INTELLIGENT TROLLS, OR THE TROLL CORE MIGHT BE INVENTED!

  • @Sonicemon2789 thats not possible trools arent smart

  • this was actually really impressive. i probably couldn't do that well.. simply because i don't have the patience :) well done

  • Amazing....

  • Get working for Valve NOW!

  • nice job but as everyone is kinda saying, speed it up a little :)

  • That's it. I'm subscribing.

  • if i didnt know that was fan made i would have thought valve made it! :O

  • This is oddly haunting.

  • hm... little tip: put this on moviemaker. selet the fast speed effect. put it on the video about 5 times. watch it how aperture would make it.

  • The speed of assembly is good for science... Not Aperture science!

  • I SAID DO NOT FUCKING COMMENT MY COMMENT

  • I like the slowness of the machines, It adds some drama to the whole thing.

  • This was how they built Wheatly, if they made a single mistake, he would be too smart. So they made sure the machines skipped the part where they input the logic chip

  • @PandaHero24 I know your probably joking, but all cores of there own personality chip :P

  • @bigmacORwhopper and I said logic chip :3

  • Look's good enough for science...but not APERTURE SCIENCE!

  • Fast enough for science. NOT APERTURE SCIENCE!

  • The only way this could be cooler is if it was a full animation of the core being built.

  • what about the rest

  • atlas was built in half the time and he has arms and legs lol

  • speed this up 50 times then its fast enough for aperture

  • thumbs up if Wheatly from Portal 2 looks like Guilty Spark from Halo.

  • hardest question ever, Were would you work? Black Mesa or Aperture Science

  • @LittleDude1999 neither because at black mesa they have alien invasions, military trying to kill you, and black-ops trying to kill you. and at aperture science you have a crazy AI that kills people with nerve poison.

  • @vadersucksass but if you had to choose which one would you pick, which would you prefer: A crazy AI that kills people with nerve poison or alien invasions, military trying to kill you, and black-ops trying to kill you.

  • @LittleDude1999 Hmmmmm, Black Mesa.

  • @vadersucksass This was a triumph

I'm making a note here HUGE SUCCESS

Its hard to overstate my satisfaction

    Aperture Science

wee do what we must because we can :3

For the good of all of us except for ones who are dead

... long story short i would pick Aperture Science mainly because i want a portal gun more than i want a crowbar

  • @LittleDude1999 but can you kill Justin Bieber with a portal gun?

  • @vadersucksass Shoot one portal beneath him

The second on the underside of a high ledge.

    Mission accomplished.

  • @vadersucksass two words, forward momentum

  • @LittleDude1999 and a power suit

  • @talic017 but what about the gravity gun

  • @LittleDude1999 But Black Mesa has the Super Grav gun! :D

  • @LittleDude1999 Gravity gun.

  • @LittleDude1999

but i would die on both

  • @02hayato but which would give you the best death

  • maybe this is how Aperture makes prototypes...

    NEH

  • whoah that's amazing o__o

  • glados got an virus

  • Took faster to make turrets

  • This is slowed to a 10,000th of original speed for human comprehension. Thus why it is on youtube and not uploaded to an Aperture database.

  • Pretty good but when you are finished with the animation speed it.up a little so it looks better!

  • THIS ISNT PORTAL 2 ROBOTS BUILD OTHER ROBOTS ON LIKE 5 SEC!!!

  • Wait, i thought that Apeture Science would do this way faster than this

  • Cool

  • How? Explain please.

  • THAT WAS SO AMAZING! Please have the finished product come to life and start talking. :)

  • Test (Chamber) Completed

  • nice, but finish it and make it go faster. then it would be totally awesome.

  • Sweet Jesus it's amazing O_O

  • aperture assembles shit fast

  • really cool but you should make it faster and put on more parts

  • *assembly

  • speed it up so it takes as long as turret assembely

  • I = casual core

    V

  • TOO SLOW FOR APETURE MACHINES!

  • @Rodsims1 Well, it is good enough for science...

  • @Rodsims1 not in real life, just part of the filming concept /:(

  • @Rodsims1 also they are to careful to be Aperture Science Bot Builders

  • @Rodsims1 Slow motion used.

  • Comment removed

  • @Rodsims1 it's maybe fast for turrets but cores may have more things to do, like personality construction etc.

  • @Rodsims1 Cores are more important because they exist to make GlaDoS behave so they need to be build CAREFULLY.

  • @10xana Apeture machines are NEVER SLOW!

  • @Rodsims1 Called a test animation for a reason

  • @SteamBirds Can you guys just shut up aboud this?

  • @Rodsims1 silly, it was sped up so fast that its actualy making 498 cores a second, but your eyes can't comprehend the science!

  • @Rodsims1 its a slow mo they are to fast to see with an eye and an eyepatch

though i dont know where the eyepatch comes in,you get it free with the long-fall pegleg you see.

  • @estester100 the eye patch comes in because demoman works on teh machines

  • @Rodsims1 aperture machines would have that done in 5 seconds

  • @Rodsims1 This was made with slow motion so humans can see it ;)

  • I have the weirdest boner

  • Maje me into a core! I want to spend eternity laughing at test subjects failures! Sarcastic core away!

  • finish it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is friggen AWSOME Dude!!! :D

  • It should be faster

  • id say it could be better... but then i thought about how crappy my animations are and then hit the like button!!!!

  • very smooth nicely done. Like modern day construction facility

  • wheres the rest of the video?

  • Aperture's Portal 2 Cores really seem to look like something out of a dumpster compared to the Portal Cores.

  • The animation's so smooth, I can't take it!

  • is this a program?

    hmmmm????????

oh well i guess al never know but thats awsome!

  • Valve...HIRE THIS GUY ALREADY

I want to see this in Portal 3

  • @ervinasroblox3 Silly, valve can't count to 3.

  • @Caspianm2 Mega sadface

  • @ervinasroblox3 I know. ):

  • This should be sped up by about 10 to 20 times for it to fit Aperture's way of using it. Then it gets packaged up, drops down into the un-assembly machine, the parts go back to the parts lines, and the packaging is dropped into an ever-growing heap of garbage.

  • and So Wheatley Was Born...

  • lol i didnt realize i was youtube likes famous :P

and once again i love your show

  • Make the whole assembly, i love to see shit get built :)

  • cool

  • how did you export the models into your animation program?

  • in aperture science we dont do it carefull we just smack it on and we are done

  • thumbs up if you want a core as pet :D

  • @gratianray2 I bet that can include the 2.0 model [refered from as seen in portal,if you know what i mean]

  • To fully visualize this, just imagine this with increased speed of 2 to 4x. That would be how Aperture would have constructed their equipment.

  • where to get the models?

  • should be much faster, like they made the turrents

  • if its all made the same way how are defective cores and normal cores made?

or mabe GlaDOS made em to bugg the shit outa u o.o

  • it should be more carefree

  • Garys Mod Plus?

  • It should be quick paced and flashier. If I were you, I look into the Portal 2 Co op opening cutscene for inspiration. Valve gave the viewers something more interesting to look at by adding small parts and doing more than just building the robots. An example being polishing them or going back and fixing a part that fell out due it's reusage and being scrapped together to be something it wasn't meant to be.

  • maybe this will show something for the next episode

  • The only problem is the speed. Portal tech builds fast. Very fast.

  • awesome

  • is Andrew Walker on youtube?

  • you should get a job at valve

  • Aperature Science stuff is built way faster. So if you want to include that into the show then keep that in mind.

  • Haha, very nice start! Speed it up by 300% and you've got it how Aperture does it! ;)

  • woulndt you think the guts of the robot would be assembled first, and then build on layer after layer?

  • the only problem i have is that its assembling a damaged core not a new one

  • The motor sound is a bit annoying, but it looks nice :D

  • amazing tut plz

  • @TheDJJProductionInc Derp. You can't ask for a tut for something like this! But if you insist, look up:

    3ds max modelling.

    3ds max particle effects.

    3ds max rigging.

    3ds max animating.

3ds max to after effects pipeline.

    After effects compositing 3d elements.

  • that was really good animation keep it up cant wait to see more.

  • very nice work

  • ye, its awesome but the only down part is the speed. it should be like the turrets being build in the game heheh anyway, its just a test so congrats! i love it!

  • its cool but not how aperature would have done it, it should be more violent and carefree

  • @starwarscreature I imagine there would be a single arm which would move along and slam the core base into it's pieces. Aperture Science Inverted Procession Assembly Line.

  • @starwarscreature but its more dramatic this way

  • @starwarscreature And faster... according to when the Co-op bots are being assembled

  • @starwarscreature and more fast, and more sparks.....

  • @PandaHero24 Above all, too efficient. That thing better be suspended over a pit of lava.

  • @starwarscreature not to mention faster

  • @starwarscreature I dont know, I mean, They're cores, getting something made precisely wouldn't really apply to anything BUT cores

  • @TheHaloN00b117 In portal 2 if you beat go to the commentary mode at one point it says just how violent and carefree aperture makes its product. Its the only reason I said it.

  • @starwarscreature I know, but intentionally making corrupt cores? Thats fucking ridiculus. Get your facts straight (BTW, I've beat the game 12 times, no need to correct me)

  • @TheHaloN00b117 wow, you're so hardcore.

  • @TheHaloN00b117 Well play it again. They make defective turrets, of course they'll screw up the cores!

  • @starwarscreature and totally expencive and with exesse stuf!

  • @starwarscreature Yeah, looks more like if black mesa invented the cores.

  • Cool animation bro

  • That is so cool.

  • first view! this is amazing!
