  • Edwards a media candidate? LOL not hardly!

Or perhaps you've missed the 24/7 media coverage bashing him.

Let me know when Paul or Gravel walk picket lines with union workers and hit the streets with them to help place minimum wage on ballots.

That should tell you all you need to know about the anti-union media corporations smearing Edwards 24/7.

  • John Edwards is the only candidate who really cares about us instead of the corporations. Since the media is owned by corporations, they are going to do everything possible to make sure he is not our candidate. He's the one who scares them to death.

  • The major media is very nice to John and he has been leading the polls in Iowa. If you want to support a non-corporate candidate you have Mike Gravel or Ron Paul to pick from. edwards is smooth, but he's full of sh#t. He could care less about you. I don't mean to be mean, but he's not much better than Hillary or Bush. He's better looking and talks smoother, but that is all.

  • Obviously, you're easily led by the corporate media - which has NOT been very nice to Edwards!

And why would they? He's calling out the corporations that keep the working poor poor - the same corporations who sponsor the corporate media. Bingo!

  • Bingo? Not quite. I wish it were that simple.

Didn't Bill Clinton talk about the same things? Maybe you think Bill was a good guy, I used to, but, with all due respect to you, the govt IS the corporations. Edwards is a pre-groomed, pre-approved, media candidate. I really wish he wasn't. He's playin' the game is all. Democrats criticize corporations all the time, but behind the scenes, they're cutting the same deals the Republicans are.

Ron Paul or Mike Gravel. The only decent choices.

  • Edwards has moved farrrr away from the DC elites.

The corporate media isn't discussing the issues - but rather promoting the candidates raking in the most moolah from their corporate sponsors - as if - candidates raising the most corporate money will make the "best" presidents.

There are no discussions about issues and the top candidates raking in the most moolah have released few policy statements.

OTOH Edwards has released detailed solutions - and his healthcare plan is brilliant!

  • John Edwards gets it! and has my support.

  • Edwards has the best health care plan of any of the major candidates and is the only one of the top 3 that has a truly universal health care plan. Obama says his is universal, but it really isn't.

  • I dont know. I remember quite clearly that neither he nor Cheney had any clue what she was talking about. I'm all about giving people a second chance, but I think he might just be playing to the crowd.

  • Nearly two years after Gwen Ifill asked him about the terrible epidemic striking down black women does he finally have an informed answer.

  • I hope that most people know more than they did two years ago. Gee, having a candidate who "LEARNS", what a novel idea after this rigid-headed George W. Bush who refuses to change even after he's proven wrong.

  • You missed the point of my criticism: it took him two years to get a damn clue about an epidemic in our own country. I am an Edwards supporter, but it was a horrible shame he (and mainstream America) obviously didn't even realize that black women and girls were being wiped out by HIV/AIDS. Next time don't be such a patronizing fuck ("Gee") and realize that a person in his position should have least had a damn clue and comparing any rational person to the catastrophe that is Dubya is pointless.
