My youth pastor past away of cancer last year , he was only 27 and him and his wife had a one year old daughter . I was heart broken and I was mad that God just let him die even though he still had a full life ahead of him , but then I listened to this song and it brought tears to my eyes because I realized he was in a better place . He is no longer sad and in pain but he is happy and rejoicing w| the Lord . We love you and miss you Pastor Dave <3

My uncle died at 38 in a car crash and after that I grew really far from God, though I talked to Him, begging Him to tell me why and how He could let such a thing happen. But He's showed Himself sufficient for me, and now I'm closer to God than ever. Honestly, barely anybody understands or knows why such things happen, even if they claim to.

He wants to be your comforter through this time of doubt and sadness, He wants you to know that once you put life in His hands, He can sustain you even through the hardest times. @GeeEsTee I do not think it's any of those, it hink it's something to make you stronger. It says in the Bible that God will not give you anything you cannot handle. God will protect you from Satan if it's something you can't handle. I don't think it's a punishment. But it's not a test. God puts hard times in our life to bring us closer to him. We tend to say "If God loves me this wouldn't happen" and we stray away, but what we should do is go closer, it helps us a lot more than we think

this song takes me back to a trip that the church took me on called meltdown. the band sang this song and while they sang it i could feel God all around me. i recently went to a funeral and this song was played and i had the same feeling. i love this song.

another thing that id like to say is that whenever i hear a song like this one i cant help but think how people can't believe theres a God out there...how can that not believe in Him? i mean don't they feel that peace settles around them whenever they come across these songs? dont they hear the silent whisper of a promise of whats to come soon if they just have faith and believe without asking questions .... its not easy but its worth it wouldnt you agree?

@somnolien Yea I know what you mean I was at my youth service Friday and I completely broke down when they were playing this song this lady prayed for me and said no matter what you do he's still holding you and before she let go of holding me she said imma let go but your going to feel him holding you like I am and when she let go that's exactly what I felt. It was amazing I felt so warm. Jesus is amazing! God bless. :)

this song made me cry because they used it during a memorial-thanksgiving ceremony for one of the teachers that had passed due to cancer... it made start sniffing and get teary eyed
